Walking out of the dical office and standing in the sunshine, Sophie Sullivan laughed out loud, giving George Stanford a thumbs-up. "Old Mr. Stanford, you really are a kindred spirit!"

George Stanford reached out his hand, and Sophie imdiately understood, reaching out her hand to high-five him in the air—

Sophie felt extrely happy; she never imagined that Minimus Hart would have her day like this.
This was the first ti she had seen such a timid Minimus Hart.
However, seeing her so subdued, Sophie didn’t even feel a sense of accomplishnt tornting her.
Unexpectedly, Old Mr. Stanford turned out to be a man of action too.When he tornted soone, he didn’t even blink an eye.
George Stanford played with the surgical knife in his hand, feeling quite pleased. "If all goes well, we can perform the surgery the day after tomorrow."
Hearing this, Sophie clasped her hands together and bowed solemnly to George Stanford. "Old Mr. Stanford, I entrust my face to you!"
George Stanford stepped back. "Fiona, you’re suddenly so serious. I’m not used to it."
"Screw you!"
Sophie grabbed his collar. "Say you guarantee you’ll restore my beauty!"
George Stanford laughed heartily. "Fiona, I knew you couldn’t keep up the act for more than three seconds."
The two of them were soon roughhousing playfully.
The man sitting in the surveillance room had a gloomy expression.
Harry, huddled in his embrace, was alertly stretching his neck, ready to escape at any mont.
Watching Sophie and George Stanford laughing and joking together, Thomas Shannon’s heart burned with a fierce anger.
She had never been this easygoing with him.
With George Stanford, they were joking and laughing. Was he truly worse than George Stanford?!
"Ungrateful wretch!" With a cold sneer, Thomas Shannon rose, carrying Harry, and left.
Charlie River imdiately followed. Thomas Shannon held Harry, one hand idly stroking his fur. "Tell George Stanford to co and see ."
"Yes, Young Master."
After her walk with George Stanford, Sophie returned to her room.
When George Stanford returned to his room, planning to carefully study the surgical plan to ensure everything would be flawless, there was a knock on his door.
Charlie River stood outside the door, smiling as he withdrew his knocking hand. "Dr. Stanford, Young Master wants to see you."
「The study room.」
Thomas Shannon was sitting in the boss chair, one hand stroking Harry’s fluffy head, his cold eyes emitting an unwelcoming aura.
A cigarette was pinched between his fingertips, wisps of smoke curling upwards.
"Young Master Shannon, you were looking for ?" George Stanford asked with a smile as he entered the study room.
"Dr. Stanford, sit."
George Stanford sat down in the chair in front of the desk, silently guessing Thomas Shannon’s purpose for summoning him.
Thomas Shannon took a deep drag from his cigarette and slowly exhaled a smoke ring. His long, narrow eyes narrowed. His features were sharp and well-defined, and the smoke swirled around his handso face, lending him an even more enigmatic aura.
The excessively handso man appeared before him, almost like a figure from a dream.
"When is the maniac’s surgery scheduled?"
George Stanford suddenly understood. So that’s why he called . "The day after tomorrow, I will be performing the second facial restoration surgery on Fiona. The surgical plan has already been formulated. Would you like to take a look, Young Master Shannon?"
"No need. Everyone has their own expertise; I trust you know these things better than I do. Just do your best."
"Yes, I understand." George Stanford nodded; he was pleased to hear that.

Harry suddenly wailed, his fluffy, shiny fur standing on end.
Thomas Shannon seed to realize only then, lost in thought, that he had been gripping Harry too tightly. He imdiately loosened his hold, soothing the cat for a mont before looking up at George Stanford’s calm face.
