George Stanford sighed. "Is Fiona alright?"
"Dr. Standford, rest assured, Miss Cecilia Branford has safely left Country A."
Safely left Country A...
Upon hearing this, George Stanford was relieved. He had finally helped her escape successfully.
"You don’t need to pick up. Tell Fiona I’m fine too. Young Master Shannon didn’t punish . I’m still staying in the dical office; everything is normal."
Derek Clark seed unconvinced. "Dr. Standford, rest assured, I have a way to get you out..."
"No, no, no," George Stanford refused repeatedly. "I won’t go with you. Just tell Fiona that she’s fine. I’m hanging up."
With that, George Stanford hung up the telephone.
He poured a cup of water and drank it in one gulp. After drinking two cups, he felt his strength return.
Putting down the cup, he lay down on the bed, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
"Young Master, Dr. Standford has been released back to the dical office. Just now, he called Derek and said he doesn’t want to leave."
Charlie River promptly reported the latest situation to Thomas Shannon.
Thomas Shannon was looking at the file, his side profile cold and handso. "He’s wise to do so."
Charlie River hesitated for a mont, then continued, "Young Master, the people sent to Country F were thrown off by Lucifer’s n. If I’m not mistaken, that maniac is in Lucifer’s manor."
Upon hearing the word "maniac," Thomas Shannon snapped the file shut impatiently.
Leaning heavily against the chair back, he lifted a hand and pinched his brow. "Find a way to contact Lucifer. I have sothing to tell him."
"Yes, Young Master."
「Country F.」
Sophie Sullivan woke up to find Gaby at her bedside, not knowing when he had arrived.
He was asleep, his sleeping position well-behaved, unlike Harry the kitty, who was spread out and snoring softly.
His huge body, when lying down, took up almost half the length of the bed.
Sophie lay on the bed and stretched out her arm, touching Gaby’s head. This tiger was her pet.
Even now, she still couldn’t believe it.
The mont her fingertips touched his head, Gaby opened his eyes.
Gaby stood up, leaped, put his front paws on the bedside, and nuzzled his head against her.
Sophie couldn’t help but laugh. "Alright, Gaby, calm down, calm down."
Gaby stopped. Sophie got out of bed, and Gaby paced beside her, his head held high. The faint king pattern on his forehead looked majestic.
Opening the door, she saw two servants waiting in the corridor.
Seeing Sophie Sullivan, the servants bowed respectfully. "Miss Cecilia Branford, dinner is ready."
"Alright, take down."
"Yes." One of the servants made a gesture. "Miss Cecilia Branford, please follow ."
Upon arriving downstairs and being led into the Restaurant, Sophie took a seat and looked around but didn’t see Lucifer.
"Where did Lucifer go?"
A servant bowed. "His Highness Lucifer is in the study room and will co down for dinner later. His Highness said for you to start eating first."
"No need. I’ll wait for him."
"Miss Cecilia Branford, His Highness ordered you to have your als on ti..." the servant gently persuaded.
Sophie got up and went out with Gaby. "Then I’ll go get him."
At the entrance of the study room upstairs, Sophie knocked on the study door. "Lucifer?"
Lucifer glanced at Leo. Leo understood and imdiately turned to leave.
