Sophie Sullivan raised her head. Her pale-colored pupils seed to be coated with a layer of lustrous glaze, a shimring light flowing within them.
She hadn’t expected that after so ti apart, Thomas Shannon’s sweet-talking skills would have maxed out.
She let out a couple of soft, teasing grumbles and bit his neck. "Tell the truth, who taught you all these sweet nothings?"
"I’m a natural."
"Hmph, I don’t believe you."
Thomas Shannon patted her perky bottom twice with one hand. "What do you want for a midnight snack?"
"Are you making it?" Sophie Sullivan raised her head, montarily releasing his neck.
Thomas Shannon had indeed dug his own hole and jumped right in.
However, if it was what she wanted, he was willing to oblige.
"Whatever you want, as long as it’s not too difficult, I’ll make it."
"TSK TSK."
Sophie Sullivan, as if she had discovered a new continent, clicked her tongue in amazent. "Alright, who are you? And where have you hidden the real Thomas Shannon?"
Her arms looped around his neck, and she gave him a little shake.
Thomas Shannon hitched her up a bit higher on his back and then headed downstairs. "Hurry up and tell what you want to eat."
"AHEM!"
An awkward cough sounded from behind them.
Thomas Shannon paused and looked back. Sophie Sullivan, still on his back, turned her head at the sa ti.
William Guillen, wearing a sleep gown, looked embarrassed. "I was thirsty and ca down to find so water."
William Guillen couldn’t believe his rotten luck!
Awoken by thirst late at night, he had co downstairs for water, only to be unexpectedly bombarded with their public display of affection in the corridor.
He had intended to tread lightly, wait for them to leave, and then go downstairs himself.
However, the two of them seed addicted to flirting, showing no signs of leaving.
They were in the corridor, bantering back and forth, clearly having a grand ti.
Their words were so sugary sweet, it was enough to give anyone listening goosebumps. He had always thought Thomas Shannon was a dull man, completely inexperienced in romance, only capable of taking what he wanted by force and being domineering. He never imagined that even an iron tree could blossom one day; it was as if Thomas’s sweet-talking skills had been maxed out overnight. The speed of this transformation was astonishing. His thirst was becoming unbearable, yet these two were still flirting, still flirting!
William Guillen could only cough awkwardly a couple of tis to remind them it was ti to tone it down!
Everyone has a responsibility to care for others. And single dogs weren’t to be trifled with!
Sophie Sullivan’s beautiful eyes suddenly widened. She stared straight at William Guillen, who had appeared in the corridor in a sleep gown late at night. "What are you doing here?!"
Thomas Shannon’s question was the exact opposite of hers, "Why haven’t you left yet?"
William Guillen: "..."
What had he done to deserve this?
Scowling, he glared at Thomas Shannon. "Weren’t you the one who asked to co last night?"
Thomas Shannon nodded. "But I didn’t ask you to stay overnight."
Seeing him in a sleep gown like this... could he be with Fluffy Zane?
Sophie Sullivan tightened her grip on Thomas Shannon’s neck with one hand, craning her own neck to stare at William Guillen. "Why did you co? And... which guest room are you in?"
"I say, maniac—no, I should call you Sophie Sullivan." William Guillen raised a hand to his forehead. "What have I done to provoke such hostility from you?"
Sophie Sullivan waved her hand dismissively in front of her cheek. "I’m allergic to scumbags."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
William Guillen: "..."
Shannon, look at your woman! See how spoiled she’s beco because of you! Could they even hang out like normal anymore? Their little boat of friendship was about to capsize!
Thomas Shannon then spoke softly, easing the awkwardness of the mont, "Fennie and I are going to have a midnight snack. Want to join us?"
"Together!" William Guillen ground out, filled with the rage of a single dog.
