The woman who caught Thomas Shannon’s eye is indeed no ordinary person.
"May I be so bold as to ask, Miss Sullivan, how much do you already know about your own background?"
Sophie Sullivan narrowed her eyes slightly. Judging by her tone, could it be that she had thoroughly investigated even her background?
"Why is Miss Lillian Spencer so interested in my affairs?" Sophie chuckled. She didn’t know her at all, so why was she so concerned about her matters? What was she after?
"Just curious."
With a single word, Lillian Spencer casually glossed over it.
"Is it really just simple curiosity? I think not."
Lillian Spencer knew she couldn’t hide it from her, so she laughed too, clasped both hands together, and placed them on the tabletop. "Isn’t Miss Sullivan curious why I know about your background?"
"If you want to tell , I’m willing to listen."
"Miss Sullivan is a person from Country F and happens to resemble my Junior Sister, it’s easy for people to connect the two. Furthermore, I have a bit of understanding of Miss Sullivan’s current situation, so I want to offer you a well-aning warning."
Sophie’s first feeling was that Lillian Spencer was not a simple woman!
Suppressing her inner annoyance and impatience, Sophie asked calmly, "What kind of warning does Miss Lillian Spencer want to give ?"
"Be wary of Thomas Shannon." Lillian Spencer put away her smile and said earnestly, "Don’t be deceived by what’s in front of you, and learn to observe people’s hearts."
"Miss Lillian Spencer’s words are sowhat laughable," Sophie shook her head with a bitter smile. She wanted her to be wary of Thomas Shannon?
Did she want to alienate her relationship with Thomas Shannon?
"Honest advice is hard to listen to, Miss Sullivan may not believe it now. But in the future, you will know who your real friends are."
Lillian Spencer didn’t intend to say more. She stood up, "I’ve said all that I wanted to say, I hope Miss Sullivan carefully considers my words."
She nodded with a smile and turned to leave.
Sophie looked at the cup of water in front of her, not understanding what Lillian Spencer truly ant.

She ntioned her current situation and warned her to be wary of Thomas Shannon. What kind of ga was this woman playing!
Lillian Spencer left the cafe and walked outside.
Linda followed up, "Miss, will she believe you?"
The guard opened the car door, Lillian Spencer bent down to get in. She chuckled lightly, a hint of coldness flashed in her eyes, "I’ve already said all I wanted. Whether she believes it or not depends on her own perceptiveness."
"Does Miss intend to...?" Linda asked tentatively.
Lillian Spencer slowly closed her eyes, showing a slight look of exhaustion. Linda wisely kept quiet.
Sophie sat alone in the cafe for quite a while before getting up to leave.
The man in black had already reported the situation to Thomas Shannon in a tily manner. At the mont she left the cafe, Thomas Shannon’s call ca through.
Sophie, feeling troubled, saw Thomas Shannon’s call and hung up.
After hanging up, the phone rang again.
Sophie simply turned off her mobile phone, and the world was finally quiet.
K Group Headquarters, President’s Office.
"Damn it!"
Thomas Shannon slamd a fist on the office, and his mobile phone was casually thrown on the table. Standing beside him, Charlie River cautiously asked, "Young Master, what’s wrong?"
Thomas Shannon rubbed his forehead, his cold eyes heavy, "Imdiately contact Lillian Spencer. I want to see her."
He would not allow Lillian Spencer to make a move against Sophie.
What made him even angrier was that Sophie dared to disregard his words. He had warned her to stay away from Lillian Spencer.
But she went ahead and t with Lillian Spencer.
And now, she’s not even answering his calls.
