Thomas Shannon turned his head, glaring at her, seemingly annoyed by her bias toward Edward Benson.
Sophie Sullivan peevishly pushed his head away, continuing under Edward Benson’s shocked gaze, "Upon seeing Linda’s face, Thomas Shannon naturally thought the sa as you, guessing she might be Isla Stanley. Later, he sent soone to investigate, intending to inform you once Linda’s identity was clear, to spare you unwarranted excitent. Unexpectedly, you caught wind quickly and ca in an imposing manner seeking people."
The words assassination strongly resonated in Edward Benson’s ears.
He never expected that Thomas Shannon and Isla Stanley would et in this way.
He turned to look at Linda, who was expressionless and rather indifferent, "Why? Why attempt to assassinate Thomas?"
"It was my mission, there’s no reason."
Lillian Spencer issued the command, her responsibility was to complete the mission, without the privilege to ask why.
"Mission?" Edward Benson gave a bitter smile, gripping her shoulder, forcing her to look at him, "Isla Stanley, you are human, not a killing machine. Why do you obey Lillian Spencer’s orders?"
Linda pried Edward Benson’s hand away, "No comnt."
Linda was as cold as a glacier that never thaws, freezing anyone who approached her.
Edward Benson felt the chill creep from his feet, his heart simultaneously turning cold.
Thomas Shannon snorted coldly, Edward Benson turned around, looking apologetic at his friend, "Thomas, I’m sorry... I misunderstood you."
"As long as you recognize your fault."
Thomas Shannon stood up, turned his head, giving him a cold glance, "Co up with ."
Edward Benson knew he had sothing to discuss with him, nodded, and instructed Linda to sit here and wait for him to co down.
Linda sensed Sophie Sullivan’s unfriendly gaze, coldly eting her eyes, "Got sothing?"
"Spit it out, you ca with Edward Benson, what’s your ga?"
Linda remained silent.
"Even if you don’t speak, I know. You want to use Edward Benson to get close to Thomas Shannon, to assassinate him, right?"
Sophie Sullivan looked at Gaby who jumped onto the sofa, lying next to her, resting its large head on her legs, and she couldn’t help but fondly pat its head, "Gaby, you’re not young anymore, don’t always act spoiled."
Linda looked at Sophie Sullivan, then at the tiger beside her. Clearly, this tiger had already been tad, becoming her pet.
The law in Country A seems to not allow private ownership of large and fierce animals, right?
