Linda’s facial color turned pale, unwilling to believe this was true.

"You?" Linda stared at him skeptically, seemingly finding his words laughable.

"Yes, ." Edward Benson spoke slowly, his eyes firm, carrying a comforting power, "Lillian Spencer has reservations, but I don’t. I can wholeheartedly help you deal with your enemies."
Linda’s expression was dazed, not knowing if she had taken his words to heart.
However, Edward Benson had already achieved the effect he desired.
He raised his hand, gently ruffling her head, speaking softly, "You don’t have to rush to answer , tell your answer tomorrow."
The sound of rain gradually diminished, and Edward Benson left Linda’s bedroom.
He returned to his bedroom, lay down, and was finally able to close his eyes and sleep peacefully.
The next day, there were shadows under Linda’s eyes.
It was evident she hadn’t slept well last night.
Edward Benson pretended nothing had happened, routinely preparing breakfast for her. Linda sat in front of the dining table, looking at the dazzling array of exquisite breakfast items.
She closed her eyes, "I agree."
Edward Benson’s eyes showed a frenzied joy, excitedly putting down his knife and fork, he grasped her hand, "Alright, I will help you take revenge."

Linda’s facial color showed hesitation, appearing troubled, "Since I’m leaving Lillian Spencer, should I go and apologize to him?"

She was able to think it through, making Edward Benson more than happy, "You should indeed apologize properly to Thomas, after all you and he have no grievances, the assassination was truly too much. After you have breakfast, I’ll take you to find Thomas."
Linda nodded heavily, then released his hand and began to have breakfast.
Edward Benson only assud she was feeling anxious and guilty, thus he comforted her, "Thomas is not a petty person, you shouldn’t be too stressed, apologize properly, he will forgive you."
