Thomas Shannon growled, and Charlie River unwittingly beca the scapegoat.
Charlie knew that the Young Master was upset at the maniac and venting his anger here, feeling wronged but unable to speak up.
He could only respond, "I’m sorry, Young Master. I overstepped."
"Hmph." With a cold snort, Thomas Shannon strode away.
He swam back and forth in the pool several tis until the fire of frustration inside him was sowhat quenched.
As night falls, the last traces of sunset vanished beyond the horizon.
The landscape lights in the manor all lit up, turning the vast estate into a palace under the night sky.
The man broke through the water, the sound of water splashing, droplets rolling continuously down his well-defined chest.
The servant imdiately handed him a towel and a bathrobe.
Taking the towel, he wiped the water droplets off his body, put on the bathrobe, and stepped back into the castle.
Upon entering the castle, Sophie Sullivan had still not returned, and now it was already past eight o’clock.
Looking at the vast main hall, just missing one Sophie and one Gaby made it feel empty and eerily quiet.
Crazy.
He must be crazy.
Thomas Shannon placed a hand on his forehead, quickly headed upstairs, feeling like he was completely deranged.
William Guillen had tid his call to Sophie just right, but unexpectedly, she hung up on him.
The first thought that ca to William Guillen’s mind was that it was the work of the jar of jealousy, Thomas Shannon. Only he would hang up soone else’s call.
He shook his head in bemusent, then called Thomas Shannon, and Charlie River answered.
"Young Master Guillen, are you looking for the Young Master?" Charlie asked.
William Guillen raised an eyebrow, "What’s Thomas doing? Let him take the call."
"The Young Master is taking a bath. If you have anything, you can tell , and I’ll pass it on to the Young Master for you."
"If Thomas is bathing, forget it. Let the maniac take the call. I have sothing to discuss with her."
Charlie looked troubled, "Young Master Guillen, the maniac is at Miss Zane’s house and hasn’t returned yet."
It’s precisely because of this that his Young Master was still angry.
So angry, he didn’t even eat dinner!
"The maniac is at Fluffy’s house?"
"Yes, the maniac went to the Zane Family this morning to visit Miss Zane."
William Guillen felt much relieved, confident that once the maniac got involved, Fluffy Zane would listen to her.
After hanging up the phone, William Guillen leaned back in his chair, raising a hand to rub his forehead.
The secretary knocked on the door of the President’s Office.
"Co in."
The secretary brought in the docunts, and he imdiately put aside all personal matters and threw himself into work.
The next day, as soon as William Guillen arrived at the company, his first action was to turn on the computer and glance through the dostic financial news.
Seeing a headline that read "Suspected Death of K Group President Thomas Shannon," the coffee he was holding promptly spilled out.
His heart sank abruptly, and he placed the coffee heavily on the desk, not even caring about the coffee stains on his shirt.

The report vividly described the rumored death of Thomas Shannon. Since the last car accident and severe injuries, Thomas Shannon had already co forward to clarify his injury status.
After that, his whereabouts beca even more secretive, and he hardly appeared in public.
According to a K Group employee, since the car accident, the President hasn’t been seen for a long ti.
