Presidential Mansion.

With a somber expression, Lillian Spencer arrived at the training ground, and the guards called Linda to her. Linda had also watched the news; she never expected that Thomas Shannon was still alive.

"Miss..."

Linda had just called out when an angry slap, full of power, landed on her face.

Linda’s frail body was knocked to the ground.

She stood up from the ground and faced Lillian Spencer again; five red finger marks appeared on her cheek and were gradually swelling. She said calmly, "Miss, I saw with my own eyes Thomas Shannon drink the wine with dicine in it; he indeed vomited blood on the spot. I don’t understand why he didn’t die, perhaps... the doctor saved him."

"Saved him?" Lillian Spencer raised her leg and kicked her lower abdon fiercely.

Linda’s body, like a kite with a broken string, was kicked and flew out, landing heavily on the ground, stirring up a cloud of dust.

She painfully clutched her lower abdon, unconsciously letting out a low cry of pain.

Lillian Spencer seed insane, marching forward to grab her collar, pulling her up from the ground, and squinting at her with a sinister look, "Linda, who gave you the guts to betray ?"

"Miss, I didn’t."

"Didn’t?" Lillian Spencer grasped her neck with one hand, her five fingers tightening, "That dicine was brought from overseas by , instant death upon blood contact; if Thomas Shannon was really drugged by you, how could he still be alive?"

"Miss, I... I really don’t know..."

She personally drugged the red wine and saw Thomas Shannon drink the drugged wine, even saw him vomiting blood.

Sophie’s fear and anger, Edward Benson’s utter disappointnt and grief, their faces, kept flashing inside her mind.

Their expressions didn’t seem fake.

Especially Sophie, with her bloodshot eyes filled with hatred due to the sudden turn of events, and her sharp voice threatening to kill.

Everything seems genuine.

Then, where did the affair go wrong?

If all of this was part of their preditated conspiracy... then Linda could only resign to bad luck, blaming their superb acting skills.

"So, you don’t know?"

Lillian Spencer threw her aside, closed her eyes tightly, taking a deep breath, "Take her down, give her military punishnt!"

"Yes, Miss."

The guards lifted Linda on one side and the other and dragged her away.

Linda’s brain was blank; she stared at Lillian Spencer in a daze, her face grim, her eyes covered by hatred.

Her whole body emitted a deathly silent aura.

Linda gradually closed her eyes; she was finished.

This ti, let alone revenge, she feared even keeping her life was a luxury.

Only now did she faintly recall Edward Benson...

He once said that as long as she broke away from Lillian Spencer, he would help her take revenge.

At that ti, what was she thinking?

Mockery.

She mocked his naivety, thinking his ability could compete with Mr. President’s daughter?

Hearing him say he’d help her take revenge, Linda dismissed it out of hand, not believing he had the ability at all.

Now it seems, if she had listened to Edward Benson’s suggestion and left Lillian Spencer... maybe she’d still be living well now.

And Thomas Shannon might forgive her for her initial assassination, considering Edward Benson’s face, not taking it to heart.

Now...

It’s too late to say anything.

......

Suburban Villa.

William Guillen’s arrival made Edward Benson feel a great surprise.
