Thomas Shannon raised his eyebrows in surprise and leisurely put down the tea cup, "Is there a plan from Angus?"
"Not yet."
Sophie Sullivan shook her head, a smile in the corner of her eyes and brow.
No plan yet, what is she so happy about?
Thomas Shannon hooked his hand, and Sophie Sullivan trotted over to his side. The man stretched out his long arm and pulled her into his embrace to sit.
With one hand, he lifted her delicate chin, scrutinizing her face left and right, "Angus still has no plan, what are you pleased about?"
Sophie Sullivan widened her eyes, "Do I look pleased?"
The calloused pad of his finger gently stroked over the corner of her eyes and brow, "Yes."
"You must’ve seen wrong."
"Heh." Thomas Shannon felt her forehead with one hand and shook his head, chuckling softly, "It’s not seeing wrong, maybe you’re sick. And quite severely, at that."
Sophie Sullivan had planned to brush it off with a few words, but he actually resorted to personal attacks!
Intolerable!
Sophie Sullivan quickly slapped his hand away with a crisp, loud sound, brimming with her anger, "Thomas Shannon, who are you calling sick? Who’s so gravely ill?"
"Whoever’s getting all riled up."
Sophie Sullivan pressed her lips at the corner, then raised her rosy fist and started thumping on his chest, this is too much!
Way too much!
The rosy fists hit his firm chest; he didn’t feel a thing, but on the contrary, her own hands started hurting.
After a few hits, Sophie Sullivan pulled back her fist, rubbing it tenderly.
Thomas Shannon, I’ll rember this debt.
"Does it hurt?" Thomas Shannon held her hand, rubbing it, teasingly looking at her, "Will you still do foolish things next ti?"
Sophie Sullivan shot him a cold, haughty glance, "Thomas Shannon, at this rate, we won’t be having fun together."
"Then how can we have fun together?"
Pulling her hand out from his, her tender index finger tapped on his brow, "Behave, I like obedient n."
"Like Lucifer?"
Thomas Shannon chuckled lowly, "What a coincidence, I also like obedient won."
He pinched Sophie Sullivan’s chin with one hand, shaking it twice, "So, Fennie needs to behave."
"Hmph." With a cold snort, Sophie Sullivan pushed him away and went straight upstairs.
If he likes obedient won, then why not find one; she’s not soone Thomas Shannon can control.
Watching her angry retreating figure, Thomas Shannon let out an almost inaudible chuckle. He lowered his head, squinting slightly, lit a cigarette, and after puffing out a smoke ring, asked, "Are won always this unreasonable?"
Charlie River, standing nearby, nodded in agreent, "Yes, especially spoiled won, they are more unreasonable because they’re pampered."
Thomas Shannon lifted his gaze, glanced at Charlie River, "Charlie River, you seem to know a lot."
"That’s... just the perspective of an observer, I’m just seeing things more clearly."
Thomas Shannon didn’t comnt, smoking in silence, until he put out the cigarette butt after a while and got up to go upstairs.
Inside the bedroom, Sophie Sullivan lay on the bed, grabbing a fluffy soft pillow in one hand, and pounded it twice to vent, "Thomas Shannon, serves you right for being so domineering and disobedient!"
The bedroom door was unknowingly pushed open, and Thomas Shannon happened to witness this scene completely, her angry words were heard word for word.
Truly angry?
"What good does hitting the pillow do?" Thomas Shannon closed the door with his backhand, his tall figure leaning against the door, watching her with a faint smile.
Sophie Sullivan’s figure stiffened slightly, and after a mont, she reacted and threw the pillow at him, "Thomas Shannon, you’ll regret it!"
