Lucifer had been recuperating in the Royal Hospital for a period of ti, and his body was recovering well.
Perhaps because his mindset had changed, his recovery was particularly speedy, even the doctor was astonished at the rapidity of his recovery.
The doctor praised him with surprise, and Lucifer gave a wicked smile, "This is the magic of love, you wouldn’t understand."
The doctor smiled mysteriously, "Because of Miss Cecilia Branford, right? I understand."
Lucifer just smiled without saying anything, not denying it, because the doctor was right, it was indeed because of Cecilia Branford.
He was in a hurry to recover, eager to see his Cecilia Branford.
If he doesn’t show up soon, Cecilia Branford will be snatched away by that bad fellow Thomas Shannon!
So, the ti left for him was not much.
"How long until I can be discharged?"
The doctor said, "That depends on when you make a complete recovery. At that ti, we’ll do an examination, and if everything’s fine, you can be discharged."
Leo ca in from outside the ward, "Your Highness, a call from Miss Cecilia Branford."
Lucifer waved his hand, the doctor bowed slightly and then left the ward.
"Which Miss Cecilia Branford?"
Leo truthfully said, "The imposter."
Lucifer hooked his lips into a smile, a touch of disgust flashing in his eyes, and lazily picked up the phone, "Cecilia, you’re looking for ?"
"Lucifer, why haven’t I seen you lately? What have you been busy with?"
The slightly hoarse voice sounded, it was the voice of the imposter.
"Well, I’ve been a bit busy lately, didn’t get a chance to see you." After a pause, Lucifer continued, "So, does Cecilia need sothing?"
"Lucifer, I’m having a party this Saturday..."
"So?"
The imposter continued, "I want to have the party at your vineyard, Lucifer you won’t refuse , right?"
Oh, she’s scheming against him now.
Lucifer rubbed his chin with one hand; he wasn’t going to refuse her.
After all, she’s posing as Cecilia, if he refuses her, wouldn’t that make her suspicious?
"As long as Cecilia likes it, go ahead and have the party, no need to consult . You know, I never refuse you."
Lucifer’s tone was leisurely, giving an impression of doting.
The imposter was indeed like this, she laughed, "Thanks, Lucifer!"
The voice was cheerful, and then, she imdiately hung up the phone.
