"For those patients who suffer from disfigurent like you, surgery can help smooth and lighten the scars."
George Stanford’s expression was serious, "This is a blessing for those patients."
Sophie Sullivan secretly gave a thumbs-up, "Doctor’s benevolent heart, Old Mr. Stanford, you’re great."
George Stanford rarely scratched his head shyly, coughed lightly, and gossipingly asked, "Speaking of which, Fiona, your face is almost healed, and you’ve been hiding it from others. Aren’t you afraid Young Master Shannon will get angry when he finds out?"
Young Master Shannon has been devoted to treating her face, and if he finds out that he has been kept in the dark, wouldn’t he be furious?
Sophie Sullivan glanced at him, "Isn’t it not yet fully recovered?"
She raised her hand and touched her face, then changed the topic, "If I don’t hide it from him now, how could there be a surprise at that ti?"
"Surprise?" George Stanford suddenly understood, realizing that the young ones wanted to play romantic.
He was getting old and could not keep up with the pace of the young.
......
After waking up, Fluffy Zane had a brief ntal blankness.
Looking at the unfamiliar environnt, she froze again, and gradually her brain began to function...
She saw William Guillen walking alone on the road, and followed him until at a zebra crossing, a car running a red light rushed at him uncontrollably.
Her actions were faster than her consciousness; she only rembered using all her strength to sprint towards him and push him away.
Her body suffered a wave of excruciating pain, and she lost consciousness.
"Miss Zane, you’re awake?" The nurse saw her open her eyes and imdiately stepped forward to ask, "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
Fluffy Zane shook her head, her voice hoarse: "Where is this...?"
The nurse told her it was Thomas Shannon’s manor, and she was now in the dical office’s room. The doctor in the dical office had urgently perford surgery on her.
She had been unconscious for one day and one night.
Not seeing her awake, William Guillen had already returned to the company to handle urgent public affairs, arranged everything, and then ca back.
He ca in holding a bouquet of lilies and unexpectedly saw her sitting against the head of the bed, weakly drinking porridge fed by the nurse.
William Guillen was startled, and the smile quickly spread across his eyes. He took several big steps to the bedside, "Fluffy, you’re awake?"
Seeing him, Fluffy Zane felt a bit sour inside, and she nodded as a response.
"How do you feel? Is there any discomfort? Does your leg hurt?"
Her leg was severely injured; the doctors in the hospital almost had to amputate, but thankfully, Thomas Shannon’s doctors were able to save her leg.
Fluffy Zane shook her head, her mood was very low, not quite willing to speak.
The nurse smiled beside them, "Young Master Guillen, don’t worry. The doctor has already examined Miss Zane and prescribed dicine. After drinking the porridge and taking the dicine later, it won’t hurt."
"It’s good it won’t hurt; it’s good it won’t hurt..." William Guillen murmured, turning to put the flowers in a vase, placing it on the tea table.
After that, he ca beside the nurse, taking the bowl and spoon from her hand, "Let do it."
"Okay." The nurse handed the porridge bowl to William Guillen, then wisely withdrew to outside the door.
William Guillen sat at the bedside. Seeing Fluffy Zane’s pale face, his mood was heavy. She was so frail, hard to imagine where she found the courage at that ti to push him away.
He scooped a spoonful, blew it to cool down, before feeding her.
Fluffy Zane didn’t act coy, obediently eating.
