Sophie Sullivan poured herself a cup of water, took a sip, and then got up to sit by the bedside. "How are you feeling?"
"Pretty good." As she spoke, Fluffy Zane glanced at her plastered legs. "It’s just very painful."
The pain in her body seed insignificant compared to her leg pain.
Sophie Sullivan chuckled softly, "Leg pain is expected. Do you know that when you were in the hospital, the doctor already gave a final ultimatum that your leg must be amputated to save your life?"
Amputation...
Hearing these two words, Fluffy Zane trembled all over, "Wasn’t it just a common fracture?"
She thought it was only a fracture. How did it beco so severe that amputation was necessary?
If the doctor said an amputation was needed, then what’s up with her leg now?
Sophie shook her head. "Before doing a good deed, didn’t you think about the consequences? If William Guillen hadn’t refused to sign the amputation consent form and instead ran to the manor to find the doctor in the dical office, I’m afraid your calf would have been amputated by now."
Fluffy Zane was shocked and surprised; was it William Guillen?
The word ’amputation’ is terrifying for a girl.
