Jiang Chengsi had no idea what Jiang Jinsang was planning by running over to "supervise" and insisting on bringing "Miss Xiao" to watch his interview.
He wasn’t a good person, and just as Jiang Chengsi was about to refuse, he heard Ruan ngxi’s voice. After greeting everyone, she urged Jiang Chengsi to hurry up and get back to attend the interview.
"Only ten minutes left, the interview will start soon." What are you dawdling here for! "Fourth Master, please co with , and you all..."
Ruan ngxi was still pondering how to arrange Jiang Jinsang and "Miss Xiao".
"Just add two chairs at the interview site," Jiang Jinsang said bluntly.
Ruan ngxi looked at Jiang Chengsi, "Fourth Master?"
What do you an?
Jiang Chengsi was secretly grumbling to himself:
Looking at is useless, I have no idea what this guy wants to do?
"Don’t look at him, just listen to ," Jiang Jinsang said with a smile.
"Alright," Ruan ngxi looked at her boss, who said nothing, so she just followed instructions.
...
The three of them arrived at the interview site, where several people were already present. Besides Ruan ngxi, there was an older employee serving as the interviewer, and two others responsible for recording. Jiang Jinsang and "Miss Xiao" were positioned next to the recorders.
Jiang Chengsi was dumbfounded when he saw the interview list.
"Why are there so many people?"
"I sent the interview list and details to your email, didn’t you look at it?" Ruan ngxi had inford him earlier, but the boss had been absent from both the bar and the club lately, so she didn’t know what he was up to.
So when he showed up with a girl today, Ruan ngxi found it strange.
Could it be that during his "absence" these past few days, he was out on a date?
Discovering that he hadn’t even checked the interviewee details, Ruan ngxi took a deep breath. Encountering such a "disobedient" and "uncontrollable" boss was truly a headache.
Jiang Chengsi didn’t say a word; after sitting down, he casually flipped through, "Prepare to start the interview."
**
After the interview started, candidates entered one by one according to the numbers drawn earlier. It was a small conference room, not very spacious, but the tables and chairs were arranged neatly for the interview needs.
Jiang Chengsi showed no gender bias towards n or won, nor did he care about how pretty soone dressed; it seed trivial in his eyes.
As one beautifully dressed girl after another entered, his questions left people dumbfounded:
"What is the starting sequence for a racing competition?"
"Talk about the classifications of racing sports."
"What shifting thod does the sequential racing gearbox use? Is higher horsepower always better?"
...
Everyone ca for the interview, expecting the boss to ask why they chose this job, their views on it, or its prospects, but with Jiang Chengsi, it turned into a racing knowledge contest.
So were caught off guard, while others found his questions unfair, but Jiang Chengsi simply smiled:
"This is a Racing Club, if you apply to be my assistant, you’ll be dealing with racing-related issues. If you lack basic knowledge, then you don’t even have the basic understanding of racing."
"Instead of saying I’m making things difficult for you, it’s more like you’re not prepared for this interview."
Initially, Ruan ngxi thought there might be so trouble as the candidates were all attractive ladies, but to her surprise, Jiang Chengsi showed no rcy, leaving almost ninety percent of them speechless with his questions.
He even threw out a remark:
"You don’t even know what an ECU is, and you co for an interview? Are you here for a beauty pageant or an interview?"
Jiang Chengsi’s expression might as well have added:
You’re insulting .
So girls got stumped by his questions, mumbled, couldn’t speak, and their faces flushed, almost looking like they were about to cry.
Jiang Chengsi didn’t mind, in his eyes, there was no distinction between n and won, they were all just tools for the interview.
The interview process was much faster than Ruan ngxi imagined. She glanced at the person beside her:
No wonder this is the boss who once left her stranded on the road.
The level of pickiness was atrocious!
Having interviewed over ten people, Jiang Chengsi seed to grow impatient while looking at the interviewee details. Evidently, most were here with other intentions and few fit his standards, especially the two not far away, whispering head to head...
He couldn’t hear, just saw the two seemingly close together.
Jiang Xiaowu, you’re a married man, what are you doing?
Laughing rrily with a young girl, what’s going on?
Jiang Chengsi kept observing the two out of the corner of his eye. For the previous three or five interviewees, they were simply spectators, but then, for so reason, they leaned in together, whispering about sothing unknown.
He paged through the upcoming interviewee details, glanced back to observe the two.
Suddenly catching sothing amusing, the young girl smiled, but when she noticed Jiang Chengsi looking over, she thought she was disrupting the interview and imdiately silenced herself, suppressing her smile.
What the heck?
Smiling so brightly at Jiang Jinsang, yet facing him with such a bland expression?
"Fourth Master is watching us," she gave a light cough, reminding Jiang Jinsang.
Jiang Jinsang picked up the cup before her, took a sip of tea, "Ignore him."
"..."
In fact, they weren’t discussing much; Jiang Jinsang didn’t understand racing, so she briefly explained Jiang Chengsi’s questions to him.
There are many points of knowledge about racing, with plenty of details to handle.
Jiang Jinsang couldn’t resist teasing:
"So many details, Fourth Brother knows them all, he never studied so diligently in school."
"Is Fourth Master bad at studying?"
"He’s got the face of a troubled youth, hasn’t he?"
That’s when she couldn’t hold back her laugh, only to be caught by Jiang Chengsi.
He kept his lips tight, his jaw clenched, Jiang Jinsang seed easygoing, but she kept her distance from the opposite sex, both before and after marriage, so he couldn’t understand what those two unfamiliar people could talk about...
The interview proceeded, while Jiang Chengsi was busy, those two had no idle monts either.
Ruan ngxi kept instructing people to prepare things like tea and a fruit platter for them, so they were eating, drinking, and chatting, enjoying themselves far more than him, their boss.
"...Was Fourth Master this mischievous as a child?" She’d been probing Jiang Jinsang about Jiang Chengsi.
Her identity was known to Jiang Jinsang, so there was no need to hide her intentions.
"Not only mischievous, but also reckless. He started learning to drive before adulthood, and his grandma almost fainted when she found out."
"And his... parents?"
"Their relationship has always been bad, and they couldn’t control him, whenever they t, they’d argue. He was rebellious for a ti, often staying out all night. His grandma worried about him, and later he got into racing. Although she knew it was dangerous, at least he focused on sothing, and didn’t disappear, so she let it be..."
Jiang Jinsang chuckled, "We always thought Fourth Brother wasn’t a particularly determined person, who might stop racing in a few days."
"But he continued to this day."
She nodded; she knew a bit about the Jiang family. At the ti, Jiang Zhaolin’s issue stirred quite a buzz, even if she wasn’t in Beijing, she’d heard about it.
Jiang Jinsang turned to her, "There’s sothing I’ve always been curious about."
"Go ahead."
"To be blunt, with your family’s wealth and power, you can find anyone you want. Why give Fourth Brother special attention?"
"Him..." she propped her chin, glanced at Jiang Chengsi, "He’s very special."
Special?
Jiang Jinsang squinted slightly, "Your taste is quite unique."
She chuckled softly, "He’s rather good."
"So during the club’s trial operation, it was you who broke his record, right?"
She nodded in acknowledgnt.
"Fourth Brother has been looking for you," Jiang Jinsang lowered his head, sipping hot tea, "That day happened to be the Huo and Shen family’s wedding, he almost skipped being a groomsman to co settle accounts with you."
"He felt soone was deliberately provoking him, trying to ruin the event. He’s been holding this in for a while, likely hasn’t let it out yet."
"You better be careful."
"Miss Xiao" suddenly felt a chill down her neck, "I didn’t an to provoke him."
"Fourth Brother wouldn’t think that. Racing has always been his pride and joy. You broke his record; what do you think he’d feel?"
She pressed her lips tightly, saying no more.
All of Beijing knew Jiang Chengsi loved cars like his life, frantically running around under the scorching sun to find a garage, clearly showing how important cars were to him. His strictness in the interview further highlighted his dedication to racing and the club.
If caught as the one "ruining" the event, would the fledgling connection they barely ford just fall apart?
Jiang Chengsi had been secretly watching the two.
They were chatting and laughing just a mont ago, why the sudden change in deanor?
Jiang Xiaowu, you better not be bullying the young girl, you’re already a father, don’t you have any sha?
Jiang Jinsang, lacking mind reading technique, had no clue what those two were thinking, and was busy texting his wife...
