The room had poor soundproofing, so Tang Wan was very cautious as she spoke on the phone, “Don’t talk nonsense, go and get back to work, we can chat more when you’re free.”

She was wearing the Cyan Feather brooch Tang Wan had given her; Tang Wan didn’t know what they were discussing, but she was smiling broadly.
“Just as we were talking about you, here you are,” the old lady smiled and beckoned her over, “Co sit by .”
“Talking about ?” Tang Wan sat down beside her.
“We just had a visitor who said how beautiful this brooch is and wanted one for herself. I told her this piece is unique, priceless.”
Tang Wan smiled, thinking it was just the usual flattery.
“This person is very picky, ordinary things don’t catch her eye. If she says it’s good, then it really is good. Look, with the New Year around the corner, she gave so opera tickets.”
Tang Wan had noticed a red envelope on the table earlier but couldn’t make out the words from afar. Now, sitting closer, she could see they were New Year’s tickets from the Beijing Opera.

“She used to perform; now she rarely appears onstage but she kept asking where I bought the brooch. Her family isn’t short of money; she might bring you so big business,” the old lady laughed, “I didn’t give you a heads-up, just gave her your contact. You don’t mind, right?”
“No problem.” Tang Wan had made Cyan Feather accessories for opera actors before, and if she was trained in opera, she would definitely appreciate them. Naturally, she was pleased to be acknowledged.
At that mont, Jiang Jinsang also ca downstairs, greeted Mr. Tang, and sat beside him with a blanket over his knees.
The old lady glanced at him then continued, holding Tang Wan’s hand, “Wanwan, you don’t have anything planned for tomorrow, right? I’ll take you to the opera and introduce you to her.”
“Yes, she’s a nice person; we’ve known each other for many years. Getting to know her can only benefit you, but she’s quite selective. We can only make the introduction; whether or not you catch her eye is up to you.”
