Chapter 296: 203 Wanwan Protects Her Husband, Wants to Divide the Family and Starts a Dispute (2 more updates)

In the cramped restroom, the man’s face was a patchwork of green and red, his lips tightly clenched. But despite his efforts, a pained, bass voice kept leaking out from the corners of his mouth.

This woman seems mad, targeting the man’s most vulnerable spots without hesitation!

At this mont, his fingers were still clasped tightly in Tang Wan’s grip. With just a little more force, it seed she could snap his fingers. He was in pain but dared not move recklessly.

“Tang Wan!”

He grit his teeth with insufficient breath and no deterrent power.

“Just like the words you just said,” he whispered, “don’t shout, don’t scream, lest the Xie Family rushes in. Wouldn’t that be difficult for you to explain?”

“Go fetch a stool while I wash my hands. It’s obvious who took the initiative, even a fool could see.”

“Do you need to call them now?”

“You…” Tang Wan looked utterly harmless, especially sitting next to Jiang Jinsang. The two seed completely non-threatening. He hadn’t expected Tang Wan to dare do this. “You damn… Ah— Mmph!”

Before he could curse, Tang Wan tightened her grip, causing him to yelp in pain again.

He dared not cry out too loudly and could only grit his teeth and endure.

“Try swearing again?”

Xie Jing wasn’t stupid; how could he possibly provoke her at this ti? He had no choice but to endure.

“Shh— Keep it down, don’t let anyone hear!”

As Tang Wan spoke, she released her grip. With his body going limp, he collapsed onto the floor, his hand throbbing, and his lower body hurting like it would lose sensation.

Slowly and deliberately, Tang Wan turned on the faucet and washed her hands again. “Firstly, I am not like you; I am not as shaless and despicable as you.”

“Moreover, how is Jiang Jinsang’s condition any of your business? Today, considering it’s the Second Master’s first visit, I didn’t want to make a scene for the sake of the Xie Family. If you dare speak ill of him again, I can make sure you’ll never function as a man for the rest of your life…”

Her tone was light, almost gentle, mixing with the sound of running water.

But the lazy look in her eyes sent a chill down Xie Jing’s spine.

He genuinely feared she could cripple him.

If she had been this fierce from the start, Xie Jing wouldn’t be scared, as he would have been ntally prepared. But her sudden change into a sowhat psychopathic deanor was truly frightening.

Often, those who are usually quiet are the ones capable of extre actions.

“In fact, you’re mistaken about one thing. You might not be as important to the Xie Family as you think. If this gets out, the Xie Family might not necessarily protect you.”

“So even if I cripple you today, it’s your own fault!”

She spoke as she ripped a piece of paper from the dispenser by the sink, dabbing at the water stains on her hands, “Now I’ll be leaving.”

She was dressed in a black sweater dress today that outlined her slender and graceful figure. As she walked, the ruffled hem of her skirt fluttered slightly, possessing a captivating charm.

She left without sparing him a single glance.

Regal and haughty, almost as if she owned the world.

Yet, when she reached the living room, she reverted to a submissive and obedient deanor, sitting quietly next to Jiang Jinsang, her presence almost unnoticeable.

“What took you so long?” Jiang Jinsang looked at her, his voice low.

His observational skills were keen, ticulous. Even if she was hiding it, he could sense sothing off.

“Nothing.” Tang Wan picked up the cup in front of her, sipping so hot tea.

She hadn’t expected, with so many people around, that Xie Jing would dare be so bold. The Xie Family wasn’t foolish either. Given Jiang Jinsang’s poor reputation outside, the Xie Family would surely understand, yet they still indulged him.

This was detrintal to the family’s reputation, truly incomprehensible.

Soon enough, Xie Jing brought over a chair, but the few moves from Tang Wan were too fierce; his right fingers were completely swollen, his body aching subtly, yet he could only force a smile, enduring the pain.

“What took you so long?” Du Jinglan approached him, her eyes on his fingers, “Oh, what happened to your hand?”

Everyone’s attention was drawn instantly.

A bruised ss, with two fingers swollen unbelievably.

Jiang Jinsang casually glanced at him, his gaze, however, remained fixed on Tang Wan. She kept her head down, drinking tea, sparing him not a single glance, showing no curiosity at all.

His fingers gently caressed the teacup…

Combining Xie Jing’s previous deanor, it seed he instantly guessed sothing.

“No, it’s nothing. I just pinched it while moving the stool,” Xie Jing dared not speak the truth.

“You’re too careless, go apply so dicine,” Old Xie frowned.
