"The Jiang brothers really are a sight for sore eyes," soone comnted. "I always thought that the third brother lacked sothing and he hasn’t been in Beijing for a long ti. But seeing them together today, he fits right in."
"They all have their own charm," another chid in, "but the slick hair of Qi’s youngest still stands out as iconic. Among the Jiang brothers, he seems a bit out of place."
"None of the Jiang elders ca? Just them?" soone asked.

The matter had to be traced back to last night when the Jiang Family held a small internal eting.
Mrs. Jiang was too upset to let it go and naturally wanted to confront the issue personally. Even Fan Mingyu couldn’t understand why the Huo Family would do this; she couldn’t find anyone and wanted to go to the scene to get so clarity.
However, if the two of them went, they feared that the situation might spiral out of control with so unforeseen accidents.
"What the heck is the Liang Family up to? As if we should all turn out for them? That’s giving them way too much face," Jiang Chengsi bluntly said.
In the end, it was decided that Jiang Jinsang and Tang Wan, along with the couple Jiang Yanting, would go together, making four attendees in total.
"I want to go too! Why can’t I co along? I was invited as well," Jiang Chengsi imdiately protested, eager to be part of the event.
"You better not go and cause trouble. Last ti we attended a Liang event, I asked you to take care of Xiaowu, and you ended up being talked into the traffic police station," the grandmother huffed coldly.
Tang Wan and the others couldn’t help but stifle their laughs.
"Grandma, that was an accident, I was just anxious. This ti it’s different, let explain," Jiang Chengsi posed, ready to present his case. "We’ll be on the Liang’s turf, and if sothing happens, the second brother has to look after his wife. And Xiaowu, sickly as he is, and my sister-in-law is pregnant. It goes without saying that they need soone to look after them."
"Look, I’m not bad with my hands, and I know how to adapt. Let co along; I’ll surely be of help."
Jiang Chengsi was hard at work selling himself. Just when the grandmother seed to be softening, Jiang Shiyi spoke up:
"Grandma, let Chengsi go."
Jiang Chengsi imdiately looked at him with gratitude: truly worthy of being his dear brother.
But then he added, "I’ll go along as well to keep an eye on him. If he does anything inappropriate, I can intervene in ti."
Jiang Chengsi was stunned:
You bastard, don’t think I don’t know you just want to go for your own reasons, using as a shield?
"But Shiyi, don’t you have work?" Fan Mingyu asked with a frown, aware that Jiang Shiyi had a regular job and asking for leave would not be convenient.
"If Chengsi really stirs up trouble, as his older brother, I’ll have to clean up after him. If I don’t go along, I bet I’ll be distracted at work anyway."

While everyone was whispering and discussing amongst themselves, they saw the Liang Family hurrying outside, obviously because it was an outdoor event and people followed their line of sight.
A black sedan rolled up slowly, modest and restrained.
"Looks like it’s the Huo Family’s car..."
"No way, the Huo Family drives such a car?"
"To attend a charity event, they surely wouldn’t drive sothing flashy that draws photographers’ attention, right? They would be inviting the inspection departnt to co check them out in no ti. This is them being low-profile."

Indeed, amid the murmurs of the crowd, the car ca to a stop and the rear door opened, revealing a man stepping out.
He was dressed in austere colors, exuding a powerful presence unlike anyone else present, with an air of righteous sternness, as if his brows and eyes were sharp weapons.
The woman who followed him had short hair that reached her ears and was dressed simply but appropriately. Compared to him, her presence was much more approachable.
Standing together, they gave off a sense of gentle companionship, yet everyone in Beijing knew that Mrs. Huo was not soone to be trifled with; she just seed more amiable.
"Liang Yun, you’re here, please co inside," Mr. Liang greeted with a smile, his deanor slightly ingratiating. "Your presence is truly an honor for ..."
He had been waiting for the Huo Family to give face to the event today and certainly wanted to show them due respect.
The Jiang brothers had arrived quite early and were clearly there to crash the party. The Liang Family, not wanting to avoid them, felt their hearts pound in fear that the Huo Family might not show.
Now that they had arrived, a heavy weight was lifted from their hearts.
"After so many invitations, it would be rude not to show face; we’re relatives after all," Liang Yun remarked with a smirk, seeing Jiang Jinsang and his group of juniors. She nodded and smiled at them as if to greet them across the distance.
