"I can find my way to your place, I can go by myself," Tang Wan said with a smile.

"Let know in advance, and if you can’t find it, call again..."

After exchanging pleasantries, she said goodbye to Tang Wan and Jiang Jinsang. Turning around, she seed to notice for the first ti that there were other people in the courtyard. She nodded politely to Jiang Chengsi and smiled at him, especially tenderly, before casually Tang Wan escorted her out of the East Courtyard.

Jiang Chengsi caught by surprise, sneezed, feeling a light scrape across his heart.

He sniffed, feeling a cold coming on, and wondered why his body felt so off.

Tang Wan, when she returned, would surely ask him how he was feeling.

"It’s nothing, don’t worry about . What did your client schedule you for? Did they ask you to help make sothing?" Jiang Chengsi just asked casually.

He felt that pregnant won should be well-cared for. Tang Wan’s work as Cyan Feather was actually quite draining; he could never sit still like that.

"No, this client makes cheongsams and used to find for coordinating hairpins and brooches for her clothes, but making clothes is purely a hobby, not for sale. Today, we chatted and tried on wedding dresses. She said she had a few Xiuhe outfits for to try on. They looked very beautiful in the photos."

Jiang Chengsi had no interest in clothes or jewelry. After sneezing a few tis, he leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes to rest.

"Tang Wan, I and Jinsang are going out to try on wedding dresses. Do you want to co out with us for so fresh air?" Tang Wan asked.

"You guys go ahead, don’t mind ."

Tang Wan was going out to try on wedding dresses; naturally, she couldn’t go bare-faced and had to make herself up a bit.

Jiang Chengsi, seeing that she hadn’t left for a while, frowned slightly, "Won are such a bother when they go out. She talked about trying on wedding dresses half an hour ago and there’s still no movent."

Jiang Cuo, squinting his fox-like eyes, looked at Jiang Chengsi, "Fourth Master, you might understand once you get a girlfriend."

"I don’t want to be worshipping an ancestor at ho." Jiang Chengsi had always been free-spirited, perhaps because the family atmosphere wasn’t great since he was young, he really had no expectations for marriage.

"The one who just left, in the cheongsam, really had a nice figure and was also beautiful..." Jiang Cuo prattled on, but Jiang Chengsi had fallen asleep again, not even knowing when Tang Wan and Jiang Jinsang had left.

In his groggy state, he had a very strange dream in which he was married with children. However, the marriage was unhappy, and he was being chased by a woman, calling him an irresponsible scumbag.

He ran frantically, trying to see the woman’s face clearly, but when she caught up to him, he realized it was actually Jiang Shiyi’s face.

He woke up abruptly, covered in a cold sweat.

Fuck— that scared the hell out of him!

By this ti, Tang Wan and Jiang Jinsang had already left...

Bridal Shop

The staff mber was enthusiastically introducing the latest wedding dress styles to Tang Wan, while Jiang Jinsang sat on a sofa, casually flipping through the bridal shop’s brochure, glancing at her occasionally as she seed overwheld by the choices.

Her eyes were bright, moving back and forth among the rows of wedding dresses, indecisive.

"...Actually, so wedding dresses look plain, but you’ll only know the effect once you try them on. Why don’t you give it a shot?"

"Then, let’s start with this one," Tang Wan chose a more classic style.

"Would you like to help you with it?" the staff mber tentatively suggested, as it could be quite a challenge to put on so dresses alone.

"I’ll do it myself," said Tang Wan, who still felt awkward about being helped. She took the wedding dress and went into a fitting room. After a struggle to get the dress on, she still felt quite uncomfortable.

She looked at herself in the fitting room’s mirror, checking from all angles, ready to call the staff to help her adjust it, but the one who entered was Jiang Jinsang.

"You... Why did you co in?"

She had wanted to show herself to him only after getting properly dressed. His sudden intrusion made her feel embarrassed. The tube-top design exposed a large area of skin, and even though the indoor air conditioning was warm, there was still a chilly feeling.

But when Jiang Jinsang looked at her, she felt her chest flooded with warmth.

"Where does it feel uncomfortable?" He walked over slowly, the heat apparent in his eyes.

"The back... Help fix it, please." Tang Wan instinctively covered her chest, allowing him to move behind her, reaching out to help her adjust.

Jiang Jinsang then noticed the wedding dress revealed most of her back, and his throat tightened a little.

His fingertips burned, and when he touched her skin, it made her stiffen, letting his fingers wander across her back.

"Is it not ready yet?" Tang Wan’s fingers clenched slightly, and she bowed her head, not looking at her reflection in the mirror, knowing her face was surely beet red by now.

Jiang Jinsang grunted, his intentions unclear until he stretched out his hand, wrapped his arms tightly around her from behind, his bare back pressing against her chest, causing Tang Wan’s breath to deepen.

The next second, she felt his chin resting on her shoulder, his rough, heavy breath burning hot against her skin.

"This one looks very nice."

His breath felt as if it carried the heat of the wind, causing a slight tremor at the tip of her heart.

"Mhm," Tang Wan nodded.

"You also look very nice."

There were still voices outside, and he kept his voice low, Tang Wan watching in the mirror as he leaned down to gently kiss her shoulder, the soft, burning sensation on her lips triggering a shiver through her body.

Their bodies turned, their breaths entwined...

Tang Wan felt she must be insane, to be with him in a dressing room like this.

Ever since she got pregnant, they had rarely been overly intimate. But today, Jiang Jinsang was different, his kisses torrential and intense, as if he wanted to devour her, a slight pain spreading from the corner of her lips.

"Mmm—" Tang Wan couldn’t help but let out a low moan.

Though it was due to pain, in Jiang Jinsang’s ears, it sounded like the wing of a kitten, enticing in a different way.

"Shh, keep your voice down," he murmured hoarsely.

Tang Wan was frustrated—you know this isn’t the right setting, and yet you tell to keep quiet.

After a few minutes, Jiang Jinsang helped her tidy her hair, his gaze dropping to her flat belly. If it weren’t for this child...

But thinking about it carefully, Tang Wan’s pregnancy was quite normal.

By day, a gentle and soft young woman, by night she would suddenly transform into soone else—like a seductive siren. Jiang Jinsang had always thought he wasn’t a lustful man, but he couldn’t resist her proactive flirtations.

During that ti, life was heavenly, and without taking precautions, a pregnancy was only natural.

But after experiencing her fiery passion, suddenly having to abstain—how could one bear it?

He reached out and touched Tang Wan’s belly:

This little guy really knows how to choose the mont.

...

After trying on a few more wedding dresses, when they got ho, Jiang Chengsi was idly sitting in the courtyard playing with birds. Seeing the two of them holding hands as they entered, he was taken aback.

Just trying on wedding dresses, and still holding hands? How childish!

"Did you pick a wedding dress?" Hearing them arrive, Old Tang ca out of the house and inquired. Then, turning to Jiang Chengsi, he said, "There’s not much fun to be had at our ho. It must be quite boring for you here, certainly not comparing to Beijing."

Old Tang always felt bad for not entertaining Jiang Chengsi well, noticing he seed rather bored when he fell ill at their ho.

"Oh, no, this kind of life is comfortable," Jiang Chengsi replied with a smile.

"He just wants to ride a motorcycle," Jiang Jinsang chid in.

Old Tang’s eyes lit up, "Ride a motorcycle? We have motorcycles here."

"Grandpa, elder brother wants a motorbike," Tang Wan clarified.

"We have one!" Old Tang exclaid. Jiang Chengsi’s eyes glead, "It’s just been a long while since I’ve ridden it, not sure if it still works. Let’s go, follow to check it out."

Tang Wan didn’t even know they had such a thing in their family, so she followed them to the backyard along with the rest. This area was rarely visited, a place for storing old items.

"This was purchased over a decade ago; it’s practically an antique by now."

Jiang Chengsi was already itching to get riding, yearning to drive unrestrained and wildly. When he saw the motorcycle, he was utterly dumbfounded...

"Don’t judge this bike by its age. The things made back then didn’t cut corners; the quality is still very good."

It was indeed an old model motorcycle, with pedals and...

And it was a won’s model!
