Capítulo 826: Chapter 499: The Dashing Aunt—A Rogue Aura and Killing Intent (Second Update)
The manager led Jiang Jinsang towards the private room, and also for privacy, the rooms were far apart. So VIPs were even more remote, and at this mont, walking felt like an especially long journey.
“Fifth Master, this way please.” The manager’s forehead was covered in sweat from anxiety. “Actually, this young master You causing trouble after drinking isn’t the first ti, last ti he even harassed our staff…”
“Fourth Brother didn’t deal with it?”
“Fourth Master was in Pingjiang a while ago, and later because of your wedding, he hasn’t often visited the club. Recently, he’s been busy planning to set up a Racing Club with Young Master Qi. If it wasn’t a big deal, I could handle it myself and wouldn’t bother him.”
Jiang Jinsang nodded.
“But that young master You brought bodyguards, and there are quite a few friends with him…” The manager was so anxious that his back was soaked with cold sweat. “There are only two of them, will they be okay?”
Jiang Jinsang no longer spoke; he could only quicken his pace, leading him towards the private room.
…
Ever since Shen Shuci appeared, the atmosphere inside the private room had turned very strange. Everyone thought young master You was crazy, yet no one could hold back a drunkard, watching as he handed over the drink, everyone held their breath, not daring to move recklessly.
After the incident with the Liang Family, everyone in the Beijing circle knew Shen Shuci wasn’t soone to ss with.
She wanted to settle things peacefully, with both sides taking a step back, but they insisted she drink the alcohol, and the cup was one he had used before, clearly disrespecting her.
More importantly, everyone knew this young master You well enough that even if Shen Shuci drank this glass of wine, they wouldn’t let her leave; the situation would only escalate further.
Shen Shuci had already taken the wine glass, and when his hand brushed against the back of her hand, it made her involuntarily squint her eyes…
“Sister-in-law…” Huo Ran was on the brink of panic. His mind had been heated earlier; this was originally his own issue, and if it involved Shen Shuci, how would he explain it to his brother?
“A glass of wine, right.” Shen Shuci’s lips curved into a faint, playful smile.
“Yes, just…” young master You kept staring at Shen Shuci, eyeing her up and down without any reservations.
But before he finished speaking, Shen Shuci suddenly raised her hand, and the full glass of wine flew towards him…
Her movents were quick, giving him almost no ti to dodge; it splashed right in his face. His lips, already cracked from a previous hit, were stung by the spicy liquor, attacking his eyes, nose, and mouth, causing him to cry out in pain.
“Awake now?” Shen Shuci then lifted her hand and threw the glass onto the floor.
“Crash—” a sound resonated, indicating the glass was of good quality, not shattering into pieces, but cracking into several parts.
The tiles struck by glass startled everyone present, sending a shiver up their spines.
“Bitch, you…” He instinctively raised his hand to swing at her.
Of course, Huo Ran had to protect his sister-in-law, imdiately rushing to block him, seeing his fist about to hit Huo Ran’s face, but Shen Shuci raised her hand, pressing on his shoulder, shoving him aside…
Suddenly facing that young master You, the punch was now only an inch away from Shen Shuci, and as everyone held their breath, she swiftly kicked towards his abdon.
Huo Ran, pushed away, staggered and hadn’t yet realized what happened when he heard young master You’s cry as he fell to the floor.
Having tangled with Huo Ran earlier, he was sowhat injured; taking that kick, his abdon spasd in pain.
Everyone was dumbfounded…
Spilling wine, pushing away Huo Ran, kicking a man, all actions were very quick, they almost didn’t see how Shen Shuci made her move.
Several bodyguards rushed forward imdiately.
“Young master You, are you okay?”
“What are you idiots standing there for, get her, grab this bitch for .” His stomach contracted in pain, sobering up a bit, recognizing who was in front of him, yet he’d never suffered like this.
Today, even if King of Heaven himself were standing there, he’d have to vent his anger.
But the bodyguards dared not act; they had all recognized her prowess, knowing rushing in would be suicidal.
“What’s the point of hiring you!” the man shouted furiously.
“Young master You, let it go!” Soone stepped in to diate, worried that if it continued, things couldn’t be salvaged.
“Get lost.” he snapped.
In his fury, anger filled his heart, and his peripheral vision caught the glass shards on the floor. A rush of heat went to his head, and crawling over, he grabbed the shards, lunging them towards Shen Shuci…
Huo Ran only thought of venting his anger, never imagining it would escalate to this.
Under the refracted light, the shard’s edges reflected a piercing glare, aiming straight for Shen Shuci.
The sharp edges promised certain bleeding upon contact.
Watching the glass cut towards Shen Shuci, an unimaginable silence covered the entire room…
The shard aid straight at her neck, but Shen Shuci leaned slightly backward, instantly grabbing his wrist.
A tug and a hold.
A chilling sensation swept up everyone’s spine, holding their breath without daring to blink, a re mont…
Accompanied by a tragic cry of a bone fracture, the shard had changed hands.
Poised right against that young master You’s throat!
His scream was choked silent, not daring to breathe openly, the shard’s sharp edge already piercing his skin, droplets of blood slowly seeping from the shard’s edges…
Frightened, his legs went weak and he shivered uncontrollably, hunching over.
He could feel the murderous aura erupting from Shen Shuci.
For a brief instant, he felt the woman in front of him…
Truly dared to kill him!
A bandit-like fierceness, vastly different from her earlier calm and silent deanor.
“Sober now?” Shen Shuci glanced at him and noticed his trembling legs; turned out he was a coward too.
But he was too nervous to speak.
Huo Ran was watching from the side, completely dumbfounded.
The brothers at ho, no matter how capable, were always cautious in their actions. This was the first ti he saw soone so bold and satisfying.
His blood was boiling, and looking at Shen Shuci, his eyes practically sparkled.
“What, you’re still not sober?” Shen Shuci raised an eyebrow at him.
The man was trembling, with glass shards still pressed against his throat, causing unbearable pain, “I… I’m sober.”
“Apologize to him.” She naturally referred to Huo Ran.
Huo Ran almost wanted to cry, and a song popped into his mind:
“In this world, there’s nothing better than having a sister-in-law; a child with a sister-in-law is like a treasure.”
“Sorry… I’m sorry.” The man agreed swiftly.
Yet Huo Ran was imrsed in admiration for his sister-in-law, completely unaware.
Shen Shuci frowned, wondering why he was spacing out in such a serious mont, “Huo Ran?”
“Huh?”
“He’s apologizing to you.”
“I didn’t hear it.”
The man almost went crazy, convinced it was on purpose.
Shen Shuci looked down at him, “He didn’t hear you, so…”
“I’m sorry!” Knowing his life was in soone else’s hands, he dared not provoke Shen Shuci again.
“I heard it.” Huo Ran nodded.
“Miss…” His voice trembled as he forgot Shen Shuci’s na, so close that her teeth were trembling, “I’ve already apologized, can you take the thing off my neck…”
“You haven’t apologized to yet.”
“I…”
“Didn’t you just do sothing to ?”
“I apologize, I apologize right away!” He hurriedly said a few sorries to Shen Shuci, “Can you let go now?”
Shen Shuci suddenly smiled…
Her smile was as beautiful as pear blossoms against spring water, but the words she spoke were even deadlier:
“Who told you that if you apologized, I’d let you go?”
“…”
Left thunderstruck!
“Are you freaking kidding ?” The man got agitated, and with his movents, the glass shards embedded further, causing him to scream in pain.
“Don’t move! Otherwise, you’ll suffer even more.”
He gasped heavily, daring not to move recklessly.
…
Soon, the club’s staff had already brought security over. People looked at the scene in front of them, clustering around the door, not daring to act rashly, until Jiang Jinsang arrived and cleared a path like a deity parting the seas.
“Fifth Lord.”
Upon hearing the familiar title, Shen Shuci didn’t withdraw her actions.
However, Huo Ran hung his head in sha, knowing it was all his fault.
“Fifth Brother.” He called softly.
They say during the early days of marriage, one should wear more festive colors. Jiang Jinsang, leaving the house today, for once wasn’t clad in black and white, but in slightly dark red clothes, further accentuating his cold fair skin.
Though lean and not a cold-faced executioner, his intimidating aura made it hard for others to et his gaze.
Everyone in the private room stood up, with soone taking the lead to obediently call out to Fifth Lord. They were all teenagers and hadn’t anticipated the situation escalating to this point, with fear and apprehension written all over their faces.
The manager was insanely anxious all along, fearing sothing might happen to Huo Ran or Shen Shuci, given how outnumbered they were. The current situation was beyond what he could have foreseen.
Especially seeing the man’s neck starting to bleed, he was chilled to the bone.
Holy moly, how did it co to this?
“Little Aunt?” Jiang Jinsang walked towards her.
Only then did Shen Shuci release her grip, and as the pressure on his neck eased, he imdiately reached up to cover his neck.
“What happened?” Jiang Jinsang didn’t know the reason, so he naturally had to ask.
“Fifth Brother, they were being offensive…” Huo Ran imdiately spoke up.
“How were they offensive?” Jiang Jinsang calmly asked, looking at him.
He glanced at the man clutching his neck, his gaze intimidating enough to send chills down one’s spine…
