“Why’d they co to you?” Tang Wan had just caught the gossip, not expecting to hear the follow-up imdiately.
“Because I’ve seen the two together. Maybe I’ve been on TV, so the girl recognized and told the police.” This traces back to the ti she went to et Huo Qinqi’s teammates at a dinner.
“What kind of bad luck is this? Beijing is not small yet you ran into this.”
Shen Shuci also felt helpless. Though she was just cooperating with the investigation, she had no idea the trouble it would cause for her later.
