Tian Xiaobei went in to observe Xiaobei, then felt her belly. Xiaobei was probably in so much pain that she had no strength left, so she didn’t mind Tian Xiaobei touching her.
Then Tian Xiaobei began to press down on Xiaobei’s head, and after a short while, he looked outside at Xia Dabao, “Can you e in and help out?”
Xia Dabao was eager to help. She lightly jumped and flipped inside, “What do you need help with? How can I assist you?”
“You help me press down on its head and keep it from moving. I need to help it deliver the puppies,” Tian Xiaobei calmly said, indeed embodying the posure of a doctor, so Xia Dabao didn’t hesitate and obediently listened.
Tian Xiaobei gently pressed on Xiaobei’s abdomen with his left hand and inserted his right fingers inside, carefully fiddling around.

With each new arrival, Tian Xiaobei placed the puppy in front of Xiaobei, and, as if by natural instinct, she seemed to know exactly what to do. She gently bit through the thin membrane and, attached to the membrane was a cord, which she also tore apart.
After dealing with the membrane and the umbilical cord, the hairless and exceedingly cute puppies were revealed. Then Xiaobei licked the liquid off the puppies, and they were pletely visible.
Xia Dabao hurriedly asked Tian Xiaobei, “Does that mean they’re all born now?”
“What else did you think?” Tian Xiaobei still appeared somewhat indifferent.
Axian also crawled in; he lay beside them watching the newborn puppies. They didn’t move much when they were first born, but after a short while, they struggled to crawl towards Xiaobei’s belly, apparently looking for milk.
Xia Dabao couldn’t help but marvel at the litter of puppies, “Life really is a miraculous thing.”
Tian Xiaobei glanced at Xia Dabao; his eyes were somewhat soft at that moment.
Meanwhile, Zhao Datu was still outside. Watching the three of them gathered around Xiaobei, and seeing them work together in harmony, he squeezed through, positioning himself between Xia Dabao and Tian Xiaobei, “Hey, you understand all about dogs giving birth, now confess, have you seen a woman giving birth? Where did you peek?”
In ancient times, it was taboo for men to witness women giving birth. If they did, it would be considered bad luck and they would be branded as lecherous.
Faced with the questioning from Zhao Datu, Tian Xiaobei ignored him pletely. The dog had finished giving birth, and his task was done, so he left the kennel alone to wash his hands outside.
But Zhao Datu wasn’t ready to let Tian Xiaobei go, “Hey, where are you going?”
