When Axian saw Long Aixi walking away, he immediately stuck his little bottom out and ran to follow her, with Xia Dabao quickly trailing behind as well. It wasn’t that she adored Long Aixi like Axian, but rather she was worried that Long Aixi wouldn’t recognize what was depicted in the paintings.

Most of the paintings’ backgrounds were set in Peach Blossom Village, and the subjects were either Nan Feng or the siblings Xia Dabao and Axian, although Nan Feng appeared more often. There was only one painting showing both Nan Feng and Ye together, both dressed in bright red clothes they wore on their wedding day, looking very happy.
