“Alright, you should eat too,” Long Aixi said.
Xia Dabao of course wanted to eat, as she was almost starving.
The boat began to move, it seemed like it was about to set off, and the people on the boat gradually quieted down. After all, they had found their spots, and some who were used to boats began to close their eyes to rest. While eating an egg, Xia Dabao asked Long Aixi, “Did you e here by boat as well?”

After Xia Dabao finished her egg, she stood up and watched the river scenery for a while. It was beautiful at first, but after watching for a long time, she felt this river scenery was just the same old green mountains and waters. Seeing too much of it made her tired, so she sat down and closed her eyes.
But she accidentally fell asleep, and as she slept, her head unconsciously leaned towards Long Aixi, soon resting on his shoulder.
Seeing this, Long Aixi simply adjusted her position for her, letting her lie directly on his thighs, since the deck was also not dirty.
Xia Dabao slept for a full hour, and when she woke up, she found herself lying on Long Aixi’s legs. In her sleep, she had unconsciously buried herself wherever it felt fortable, and now she had ended up on Long Aixi’s lower abdomen.
It was quite an awkward situation. To avoid embarrassment, she didn’t get up immediately but pretended to keep sleeping while slowly moving downward.
Long Aixi, who was also resting with his eyes closed, felt the movement on his thighs and opened his eyes. Seeing Xia Dabao still pretending to sleep and moving down, he realized she must have woken up and so kept silent, pretending to be asleep as well.
Xia Dabao finally moved to just above the knees and then “fully” woke up. She stretched and yawned, “Ah, I slept till now, that was really fortable.”
Long Jiaxi “woke up” at this moment too and opened his eyes, following Xia Dabao’s lead, “Ah, I accidentally fell asleep. What time is it now?”
“Now… it’s almost dark, I’m afraid we’re almost to Xiangli.”
