After Qin Kun called out to Nan Feng, another person descended from the carriage. It was none other than Chairman Wan Hui.
Nan Feng’s scalp tingled. How had she happened upon these two grand figures here?

It was an imperative sentence.
Nan Feng naturally wanted to decline, but it seemed she couldn’t under these circumstances. If she declined repeatedly, Qin Kun with his suspicion, would likely bee suspicious.

“Thank you for valuing me so highly, Qin Kun, and also, thank you for your consideration, Chairman Wan. I will see you tomorrow,” Nan Feng responded with a neutral demeanor.
In the end, Qin Kun took another look at Nan Feng.
Nan Feng sharply sensed that there was something deeper behind Qin Kun’s gaze. He was probing her, trying to discern if she genuinely wished to take on this job.
If Nan Feng reacted with avoidance, it would reveal her unease. And if she showed fear, it would suggest that she knew something.
But Nan Feng remained steady, standing quietly in place with a gentle smile, respectfully watching Qin Kun as he left.
There was no evasion or avoidance, even less any fear or unease.
Finally, reassured, Qin Kun waved at her, and she reciprocated with a wave.

Nan Feng was in the backyard doing accounting. Hearing that Sima Guang had arrived, she quickly went out and saw Sima Guangguang standing solemnly in the doorway. His demeanor was all seriousness, and it made her want to laugh.
After all, he was just a ten-year-old boy. His seriousness made him look rather ical.

“This is a shop, not a lady’s room,” Nan Feng chuckled, “Besides, doesn’t the saying ’a gentleman does not enter a lady’s room’ refer to grown men?”
