Now reading: Chapter 319:Bloodline Convergence:Third Stage from Path To Godhood Begins With Marrying Wife And Gaining SSS Rank Skill, a Fantasy novel by Lonelythree.

Ethan had been busy dealing with Rathlos, so he had not paid attention to one of the notifications that rang the mont he broke through to the Emperor Knight stage.

At that ti, he decided to keep it aside.

Still, curiosity lingered in his heart.

Now that things had finally cald down, he stood alone and let out a slow breath.

"System," he called.

"Show the ssage."

[DING]

[Host has unlocked Bloodline Convergence: Third Stage.]

"Third stage..." Ethan’s eyes widened, and a clear spark of joy flashed through them.

"It is here."

He still rembered clearly what the second stage had given him when he broke through to the Advanced stage. Even now, the mory made his heart race.

That ability had allowed him to harness the entire power of the Blank family bloodline, pushing him to a level no one else could reach. It was the strongest trump card he possessed, sothing that had pulled him out of danger more than once.

It was not an exaggeration to say that it had changed his fate.

Now, rubbing his hands together, Ethan waited eagerly to see what the next stage would bring.

[Bloodline Convergence: Third Stage Activated.]

[You can now trace the location, surroundings, and danger level of anyone connected to your bloodline.]

[You may instantly transport yourself to their location to protect or save them.]

[If a person connected to your bloodline is dying, you may inject your vitality into them or draw vitality from others to preserve their life.]

[Warning: This applies to all children but only to won who have copulated with the host.]

The description did not end there. It continued with finer details, limits, and conditions, explaining how the bloodline bond functioned and how the vitality transfer would affect Ethan’s own state.

Ethan read every word carefully.

Slowly, his breathing changed.

His eyes trembled, not with shock, but with understanding.

This was not an ability ant to make him invincible nor it was sothing that allowed him to crush enemies or dominate the world.

But it was sothing far more important.

It was an ability that protected lives.

The lives of his children.

The lives of the won bound to him.

Ethan clenched his fists tightly.

"There is nothing better than this," he muttered.

In this world, danger lurked everywhere. Even with all his power, he could not be everywhere at once. That was why he had always been strict with his children, rarely allowing them to wander far from his territory.

The first group of children had already grown restless. They wanted to travel, to see the world, to test themselves. Every day, they pushed him, begged him, argued with him.

Ethan understood their feelings.

But fear always held him back.

Now, however, things were different.

"Thank God," he said softly.

"If I keep tying those kids down for a few more years, they will probably start running away on their own."

He let out a helpless laugh and shook his head.

The system screen shifted, displaying his updated status.

Na: Ethan Blank

"So breaking into the Emperor stage added another hundred years," Ethan murmured.

"Four hundred and fifty years..."

The number felt unreal.

Coming from a place where life was short and fragile, the idea of living for centuries felt heavy rather than comforting.

Four hundred and fifty years.

He had not even lived one tenth of that yet.

And still, so much had already happened.

Wives.

Children.

Battles.

Blood.

Growth.

Responsibility.

His life here had been intense, chaotic, and full of aning. Every year felt packed with experiences that could fill several lifetis.

But could he continue like this?

Year after year.

Decade after decade.

Century after century.

Ethan did not know.

"Ahhh... what a life," he chuckled quietly.

Back on Earth, growing old together with one’s wife was considered a blessing.

Here, however, such a simple ending felt almost impossible.

Perhaps that was the price of power.

Or perhaps it was simply the fate of soone who refused to stand still.

Ethan looked up at the sky and let out a slow breath, his smile carrying both warmth and uncertainty as the long road ahead stretched endlessly before him.

....

"Drag that rusty butt of yours, soldiers!"

"Do not expect the enemy to show rcy!"

Randall’s roar thundered across the training ground. His whip cracked through the air and struck the back of a soldier who had stumbled. The man cried out and fell forward, but before he could even catch his breath, Randall lashed the ground beside him again.

"Move!"

The soldiers shot up like frightened animals and began running once more, dragging their aching legs forward. Their boots scraped against the dirt as a long row of exhausted n pushed themselves toward the finish line.

Just as they were inches away, the ground suddenly shook.

QUAKE! QUAKE! QUAKE!

The earth trembled violently beneath their feet. Dust rose into the air, and the sky itself seed to shudder.

"Ahhhh!"

"Holy shit!"

Screams erupted as massive shadows swept across the ground. The soldiers looked up in terror and saw wyverns flying low across the sky, their enormous wings beating the air like thunder.

Several unlucky riders clung desperately to the humps of the wyverns’ backs, crying their hearts out as the creatures soared higher.

Wyvern rider training was nothing like riding horses.

The riders had to climb onto the wyverns carefully, avoiding the sharp scales and powerful wings. They needed to press their bodies low, grip the harness tightly, and learn how to move with the beast instead of against it. Any sudden movent could throw them off balance. Any panic could cost them their life.

Below, Randall watched the chaos with crossed arms and a cold gaze.

"Again!" he shouted. "If you fall now, you will die for real, so be serious."

"Ahhhh!"

"I did not sign for this shit!" one man roared as he grabbed the wyvern’s tail with both hands, his face pale with fear.

"Then what did you sign for?" another shouted back while barely managing to hold on, his body shaking as the wind battered him.
