Seeing the situation spiral out of control, King Mark scread in panic.

The Star Knights appeared in flashes of light, rushing into battle. However, even they struggled. The abyssal power of the transford monsters was overwhelming.

"Brother, what is this nonsense!" Albert roared, turning toward Calvin, who stood calmly amidst the chaos.

"I'm sorry," Calvin replied softly. "I can't."

"Enough of this bullshit!" Karl roared.

He charged at Calvin and slashed with all his strength.

The sword struck Calvin's body.

For a brief mont, Karl thought he had succeeded.

Then his eyes widened in horror.

The wound on Calvin's body closed instantly. Flesh knitted together as if nothing had happened. Karl tried to pull his sword back, but it was stuck.

A tentacle shot out and pierced straight through his abdon.

"Bluerrgh!"

Karl spat blood.

"Brother!" Albert scread.

Albert attacked desperately, sending a bolt of fire arrow at Calvin to free Karl. His strike blasted apart several tentacles, sending dark flesh flying.

Calvin was blown backward, his body cracking and exploding in places.

But then more tentacles erupted.

They whipped through the air and slamd into Albert, sending him flying across the hall.

Calvin turned his gaze toward Karl, who was hanging helplessly.

"My dear brother," Calvin said softly, his voice filled with cold hatred. "Do you rember what you did to at my coming-of-age ceremony?"

"What?" Karl gasped through bloody lips.

"You broke my arms," Calvin continued calmly.

Dozens of tentacles surged forward, wrapping tightly around Karl's body.

The next second, a horrific scream echoed through the hall.

Karl's body burst apart in a spray of blood and flesh.

Silence fell for a brief, terrifying mont.

An invisible scream seed to tear through the hall.

It was not a sound one could hear clearly, yet everyone felt it. A chill crawled up their spines as if death itself had brushed past them. Eyes slowly shifted toward the blood-soaked remains scattered across the floor.

Duke Monopolis stepped forward slowly and let out a long sigh.

"First Prince," he said in a tired voice, "why didn't you stay quiet and remain in your place?"

"This path only leads to death."

"Ohhh?" Calvin whistled softly and waved his hand.

In the next instant, the air rippled.

Dozens of dark-cloaked figures appeared out of nowhere. Their presence was heavy, oppressive, and suffocating. Each one radiated terrifying power.

King rank.

Duke Monopolis' eyes widened.

"So many," he muttered. "Where did you pull them from?"

Calvin smiled faintly.

"You can't sense them, right?" he said calmly. "They are marked by the Dark Father."

"Unless you are a god or blessed by one, you won't feel them."

"Go," Calvin said softly.

Several figures lunged toward Duke Monopolis at once.

His body blurred.

BOOOOM!

The roof shattered as figures clashed at terrifying speed. Shockwaves tore through the hall, collapsing pillars and ripping walls apart.

Seeing Duke Monopolis vanish from sight, King Mark scread in despair.

"Bastard! Why did you leave !"

"Protect !" he howled. "Protect your king!"
