Duke Monopolis smiled softly as he looked around the ruined banquet hall.

"So you are the proof, huh?" he said calmly.

His relaxed tone sent chills down everyone's spine. There was sothing deeply wrong about how easy he sounded.

"But you are forgetting one simple thing," he continued, his eyes sweeping over the nobles.

"All of you need to be alive to be proof."

The aning of his words hit like a hamr.

Gasps erupted everywhere.

So nobles froze in disbelief. Others imdiately collapsed to their knees.

"No… no, please!"

"Your Grace, spare us!"

"We were forced into this!"

"I swear I knew nothing!"

Voices overlapped in panic.

A fat noble crawled forward, his forehead hitting the bloody floor repeatedly. "Your Majesty, please! I have children! I will give everything I own, everything!"

Another scread in rage and fear, pointing at the throne. "This is the king's fault! He is the one who betrayed the kingdom! Kill him, not us!"

"Yes!" soone shouted. "We are victims too!"

King Mark did not even look at them. Broken bodies and blood covered the floor around him, but his boots remained steady.

His face was cold, and his eyes were empty. There was no anger or excitent in him. He looked like a man watching insects struggle.

"Kill them," he said flatly. "No need to listen to their bullshit."

Duke Monopolis nodded once and stepped forward. The stone floor groaned under his weight, and dust shifted around his boots.

At that mont, a clear and cold voice cut through the chaos.

"I have had enough of your bullshit."

Everyone froze. Even the sobbing and screams died down as if the air had been sucked out of the hall.

All eyes turned toward the speaker.

Ethan walked forward.

His steps were slow and steady. His boots made soft sounds on the cracked marble. His expression was calm, but there was no warmth in his eyes. His face looked still, but sothing heavy and dangerous surrounded him. It was the kind of calm that ca before slaughter.

Duke Monopolis raised his brows slightly and looked at Ethan. His gaze scanned Ethan from head to toe, and then narrowed.

"The last ti, I refrained from teaching you a lesson," Monopolis said coldly. "But this ti, you are going to die, and it will be very brutal."

"You cannot escape even if you want to."

Ethan did not stop walking. His gaze remained fixed ahead.

"Didn't I tell you?" Ethan replied flatly. "I have had enough."

Duke Monopolis' expression hardened. The calm in his face vanished, and a heavy killing intent rose from him. He raised his head slightly.

BOOM!

A devastating pressure exploded outward. It was invisible, but it felt like a mountain had dropped inside the hall.

The air scread, and the floor cracked. Thin lines spread across the marble, and broken stones lifted and trembled.

Nobles were slamd to the ground like insects. Their bodies hit the floor hard, and so coughed blood instantly.

"Gyaaa!"

"Kkkhh!"

Bones creaked, blood spilled from mouths, and screams filled the hall. Armor bent, ribs strained, and hands clawed helplessly at the ground.

Claira and Duke Phillips shut their eyes instinctively, bracing for impact. Their bodies tensed, and their hearts pounded wildly.

But it never ca.

The pressure stopped just before touching them. It bent around them like water flowing around a rock.

The sa happened to the others behind Ethan. The crushing force vanished as suddenly as it appeared near his path, leaving a strange empty space around him.

King Mark's eyes narrowed, and Duke Monopolis' pupils shrank.

The reason was clear.

Ethan walked forward through the pressure as if it did not exist. His clothes did not flutter, and his hair did not move. His steps did not slow. Each step was firm and asured. It was as if the pressure bowed before him and cleared a path.

A faint, heavy aura surrounded him. It was not flashy, but it made the air around him feel thick and cold. The torches near him flickered lower, and the sound of breathing beca loud in the silence.

He stopped right in front of Duke Monopolis.

Their eyes t.

For the first ti, Duke Monopolis felt sothing crawl up his spine. A cold line of fear moved through his back, and his fingers twitched.

Those bluish eyes were deep. They felt like a pit that could swallow everything. There was no anger in them, only a quiet certainty that made his chest feel tight.

For a brief mont, his mind wavered. His breath grew slightly heavier.

"How?" he thought.

"How is a kid who isn't even one-fifth my age giving this kind of pressure?"

Ethan looked at him quietly. His face did not change, but the space between seed to narrow down.

"I once had great respect for you," Ethan said, his voice low and heavy. "You were a symbol of pride and everyone looked up to you as guardian."

His gaze hardened.

"But who knew you were just another random asshole son of a bitch."

The insult hit harder than any blade.

"You dare!" Duke Monopolis roared, rage exploding from his chest.

He swung his fist.

The power behind it twisted the air. The shockwave alone shattered pillars and sent debris flying.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The collision shook the entire palace.

The ground caved inward. The walls collapsed and a shockwave stirred the dust.

And yet—

Duke Monopolis' body trembled.

Ethan had caught his fist barehanded.

Duke Monopolis stared at his own arm in disbelief.

"Emperor rank…" he muttered hoarsely.

Ethan's grip tightened slightly.

"Sorry," Ethan said coldly. "I am not fighting you."

Duke Monopolis' eyes widened.

"What?" he asked, genuine shock breaking through his arrogance.

Ethan leaned closer, and whispered with a devilish smirk.

"You are not worth it."

"Because your opponent is there."

"There?"

As Duke Monopolis spoke, his voice trailing off, he felt it.

Everyone felt it.

A crushing presence descended from above, heavy and violent, like the sky itself had turned hostile.

Then ca a bone shrieking sound.

ROAARRR!

A roar tore through the air, deep and ancient, like the cry of a dragon mourning and raging at the sa ti. The sound shook the entire capital.

RUMBLE!RUMBLE!

The ground started to tremble.

People scread and covered their ears as blood trickled from so noses.

Everyone raised their heads.

High above the palace, a massive shadow ripped through the clouds. A colossal figure flew across the sky, tearing the air apart with sheer force.

It was coming straight at them.

As it descended, its body began to change. Scales peeled back and wings folded. Flas and dark energy spiraled around it, leaving behind a trail of burning air and black smoke.

BOOOOOM!

The figure slamd down beside the mansion.

The impact was catastrophic.

The ground cracked open like fragile glass. Entire sections of the palace walls were blown away. Pillars collapsed, and debris shot in all directions. Flas surged outward, devouring everything in their path. People scread as they ran, so tripping over rubble, others swallowed by fire and smoke.

The air filled with heat, ash, and despair.

From the center of the burning wreckage, a figure slowly walked out.

Fire clung to him like a living thing. The ground beneath his feet lted and cracked. Screams echoed in the background as people fled in panic.

Then the flas faded.

What remained was a tall, lean, and handso young man. His dark hair fell loosely over his face. He brushed it aside with a slow movent, revealing sharp, dark eyes that burned with cold fury.

He looked ahead.

"Didn't I tell you?" he said calmly.

His voice carried clearly, cutting through the chaos.

"Next ti we et, it will be your death."

He extended his hand. Dark and fiery blades ford around his arm, twisting and layering like living weapons. Power erupted from his body, shaking the ground behind him as cracks spread outward.

"So I am here to fulfill my promise," he continued, his gaze locked on Duke Monopolis.

He clenched his fist and roared.

"Insolent human,I am here to grace you with death."
