He blocked one strike, twisted his body to dodge another, and parried a third. Each collision sent violent shockwaves through the battlefield. Sacred light and cursed fire collided again and again, tearing the surroundings apart.

A cursed blade grazed Ethan's side.

Dark flas clung to his armor, hissing as they tried to eat into his flesh. The curse spread instantly, black veins crawling along his skin.

Ethan gritted his teeth.

Light burst from his body, burning the curse away with a sharp hiss. The flas scread as they vanished.

Agros's eyes widened slightly.

"You can even burn curses and heal your wounds?" he snarled, his expression twisted with disbelief.

It wasn't that he had never seen such people. Most who wielded such power were special beings, those blessed by the Goddess herself.

Yet at a glance, this man didn't seem special at all. And still, he was hoarding far too many secrets.

With that, he slamd the bone sword into the ground.

The earth itself responded in agony.

A deep, guttural groan rose from beneath the land as cracks began to spread in every direction and the ground split open like a wounded beast, and pillars of cursed flas erupted from below.

Entire streets were torn into the air and shattered. The stones lted and the remaining ruins of buildings warped and twisted. What remained of the capital burned as the hellfire swallowed everything in sight.

The world seed to burn as if hell itself had descended.

While airborne, he raised his greatsword high.

The power of light gathered along its blade.

A massive arc of sacred light fell from the sky like divine judgnt.

Agros staggered back.

His massive body dragged through ruined structures, ploughing everything in his wake. Towers collapsed. Stone and tal were reduced to rubble beneath his weight. Dust and fire filled the air as he dug his feet into the ground, forcing himself to a stop.

He roared in fury.

"You dare!" he shouted, his voice shaking the very air around him.

After taking a mont to regain his balance, he charged again.

Each step shattered the ground beneath him, sending shockwaves rippling outward, flattening what little still stood tall.

He then swung his bone sword in a wide arc, releasing another storm of cursed flas, but this ti, mixed with black lightning.

"Undead Summon!"

And from its blade, thousands of bones burst outward. They twisted and snapped together midair, forming nurous humanoid shapes.

Hollow eyes burned with sickly green fire as the undead surged forward in a wave.

Ethan felt a chill down his spine seeing the world.

'Damn!So it was a living shield…How can such a thing exist..'

A black arc shot forward, carrying the weight of countless deaths. The ground it passed over withered instantly, turning everything around it gray and lifeless.

Then, a pillar of light descended from the sky.

The figure behind Ethan raised both his hands and grabbed it before swinging it like a weapon.

The pillar slamd into Agros.

The clash erased sound.

For an instant, everything within the range of several kiloters vanished. Buildings, rubble, fire, and even air itself, all vaporized.

The shockwave expanded outward, flattening the land and tearing the sky apart. Wind scread as it shot across the battlefield, ripping everything in its path into nothing.

Ethan attacked with everything he had.

But a Death Shot, hidden within all that chaos, slamd into his side.

"Arghh!"

His body was sent flying backward like a rag doll until he smashed through ruined buildings and skidded across the ground for kiloters before finally coming to a stop.

"Cough!"

Blood spilled from his mouth as he forced himself upright and looked down, only to freeze.

Half of his armor had been blasted into tatters.

Burnt flesh exposed his ribs, and bits of bone could be seen beneath the charred skin.

"Fuckkkk!" Ethan roared, fury exploding within his chest.

"If this leaves a scar, Sophia is going to kill !"

Even now, the fear in his voice was real.

But the pain didn't last.

Golden light flowed from his chest. Soft holy hymns echoed as flesh knitted itself back together.

The burnt skin regenerated, and the exposed ribs were once again covered beneath the newly ford muscle.

Ethan exhaled sharply, wiped the sweat from his brow, and looked ahead.

He was starting to get pissed.

"You fucking piece of shit… I am gonna kill you."

As he roared, terrifying power erupted from his body.
