When they were finished looking through the officers’ quarters, Ardesen led Avery, Kasandra and Jasmine to check out the standard crew quarters.

These were all far smaller and they were just single rooms that lacked dedicated bathrooms.

There were so differences in size based on rank and for different species, but the smallest rooms were a little more than three ters long, two and a half ters wide, and three ters tall.

This only allowed enough room for a bed, small desk, and cabinetry for so clothing, but it still beat being cramd into a room with five other people and having to sleep on cramped bunkbeds.

Of course, Avery making sure that everyone could have their own accommodations had taken up a not insignificant amount of space on the carrier ship.

Still, it was a truly massive vessel, and the larger than average quarters had just taken up so of the room that normally would have gone to the cargo hold.

"Well, this is about all the ti I have to show you around. There are the passenger rooms that you wanted installed in another section of the ship, but you’ll need to look over those on your own ti later. If I went around showing you three everything, it would take days." Ardesen said, looking a bit tired from moving around the vessel and lack of sleep.

"Got it. Thanks for showing us around to so of the most important sections. Let’s go ahead and get the last docunts squared away. I’m sure that my team is ready to get going, and I need to go and pick up most of the mbers of the carrier ship’s crew."

Avery had been recruiting from all over the Dramid Alliance, so he had set a central location for the people he had decided to hire to et.

Where they were now was not a particularly easy location to gather people due to the system mostly being controlled by Storren Corp. and having few places for standard citizens to land.

So, what mbers of his team he had now would pile into the carrier vessel and travel a few systems away. For a short trip like this, their lack of personnel would not be an issue. So long as they did not encounter any major trouble at least.

With their little guided tour over, Avery and his two wives followed Ardesen off of the ship and onto the structure surrounding it.

There they went directly to Ardesen’s office where Avery handled the last of the paperwork to transfer the carrier vessel from Storren corp. to him.

"And we’re done. That jewel of a craft now belongs to you. It was a real pleasure to get to make sothing like it, and I’m glad that it was soone like you that commissioned it. I can tell from your SCX- I an your Dauntless, that you cherish and take good care of your ships. I’ve seen plenty of rcenaries that don’t and end up letting perfectly good vessels slowly degrade."

"Yeah, well my ntor beat it into that I needed to never slack when it cos to taking care of my ship. He made sure that I understood it was not just a tool but my partner and ho." Avery said, a far-off look in his eyes but also a smile on his face as he thought back to the intense training Urs had put him through.

Since there were still a few work crews doing the last checks on Avery’s carrier, he and his wives stuck around in Ardesen’s office and chatted to kill the ti.

Though he did participate in the conversation, Storren Corp.’s Chief Technology Officer never stopped working.

He was already behind thanks to spending all of his ti on Avery’s carrier vessel, so he was catching up now to keep the other executives, mainly Dorris, off of his back.

Around two hours later, a ssage ca in saying that every Storren Corp. employee had vacated the ship. It was now ready for Avery to take with him.

"I guess that this is goodbye for now. Thanks for all of your hard work. I’m sure that the craft you and many others put their hearts into will help move up to the next stage of being a rcenary." Avery said, his hand outstretched towards Ardesen.

"Sounds good to . The more your fa grows, the better our business will do. I’m hoping that others will co looking for more special projects once word about your new carrier gets out."

Ardesen accepted Avery’s handshake and the two of them grinned widely at each other.

After that, a Storren Corp. employee brought Avery, Kasandra, and Jasmine back to the carrier vessel.

Promptly they headed for the bridge and began preparing to disembark from the dry dock so that they could pick up the rest of their team.

"All checks have co back green. We’re good to go." Kasandra said from the seat to the right of Avery.

"I’ve finished contacting the others. They’re all ready to begin docking once were out in open space."

"Then I guess it’s ti for our new ship’s first flight."

Avery activated the controls from his captain’s chair and brought the carrier vessel’s thrusters to life.

Carefully he moved out of the rings surrounding it and pulled away from Storren Corp.’s shipyard.

With it being such a big ship, its reactions were not quite as smooth as the far smaller Dauntless Avery was used to flying.

So, Avery needed to take things slowly while he got custod to the controls.

"Here cos the others. Preparing docking procedures." Jasmine said as she punched in a few keys in the console in front of her.

Ezra was taking the lead for the small and dium ships, while Kaiden was at the front of the three corvettes. Having collected his own new vessel and handed control of the stealth corvette from the Vanmir Republic over to Victoria Werta. She had handily won the right to be the new captain of ship Kaiden had been commanding while his own new craft was under construction.

"All ships have finished docking and the hangar doors are closed and sealed. We’re ready to go now."

Once he had received confirmation from Kasandra, Avery set in a course for the nearest hyperspace entrance and activated the carrier vessel’s light speed drive.

Space round them appeared to elongate, and in a flash Avery’s new ship took off on its maiden voyage.
