In the vast sky, a piercing yet endearingly naive scream echoed in all directions, through layers of clouds resembling mountains and rivers. The Ancient Red Dragon sped across the sky at lightning speed.
Li Guanyi sat on the back of the Ancient Red Dragon.
The silver-haired girl leaned against the Nine-colored Divine Deer.
The miniaturized auspicious Iron-eating Beast clung to Li Guanyi’s calf, shivering, tears welling in its big eyes. It had shrunk itself to look like a black and white dumpling, hanging onto Li Guanyi’s leg.
Round, bouncy.
Trembling in the wind.
The cheerful laughter of the Ancient Red Dragon and the wailing of the Iron-eating Beast Ball spread across the sky.
The Nine-colored Divine Deer’s speed was fast, riding the wind, but the Ancient Red Dragon, as the mightiest creature of ancient tis, surpasses it in speed.
However, the sensations differ.
The Nine-colored Divine Deer rides the wind, graceful and leisurely.
The Ancient Red Dragon has only speed.
Mountains and rivers seed to shrink, racing underneath the Red Dragon at high speed, as the Southern landscape, the waterways, passed by like strokes on a map, dizzying to behold.
Soon, they saw the southwestern landscape.
The Ancient Red Dragon’s vertical pupils glanced at the Iron-eating Beast curled up and trembling.
After all, it was appointed by the Nine-colored Divine Deer as the [sturdily built] child.
With tough skin and thick flesh, it had recovered its strength.
Amusent and a hint of pleasure flashed in the dragon’s eyes.
"Hold on tight."
As the voice fell.
The Iron-eating Beast, clinging to Li Guanyi’s leg, raised its head, dazed:

Xuanhu lounged by the riverside, watching a red leaf fall and create ripples on the water, counting the fish in the river rising to the surface and blowing bubbles, feeling inexplicably bored.
Xuanhu Mountain Lord played with the water with its paws, frowning, suddenly said:
"That guy went to Jiangnan, could it be they don’t want to return?"
"There are all kinds of good things there."
Even the Sun God Bird felt dispirited, standing atop Xuanhu’s head, said listlessly: "Who knows, that gluttonous and lazy guy might really stay there. I heard the bamboo is thin and tender, and the bamboo shoots’ juice is more plentiful than here."

Xuanhu’s fur stood on end: "Y-you-you!"

The Ancient Red Dragon, upon seeing old friends, cheerfully said:

"Are you here for a fight?!"
The Ancient Red Dragon’s vertical pupils looked down at the bristling Xuanhu.
