Now reading: Chapter 1508 - 6: Three Arrows to Unify the World, Prince Qi from Peace Order, a Eastern novel by Yan ZK.

Li Guanyi ca from the bustling places of the State City of the Eighteen States in Jiangnan.

He walked through places where people would usually go shopping, through the alleys where children played and chased each other, and along the way, his robes were imbued with the sounds of students reading out loud, with the everyday life scents and cooking smoke of the common people, shedding the decisiveness of the battlefield, shedding the so-called grandeur of the renowned generals and heroes of the world.

Those scholars and Confucian scholars wearing luxurious garnts, with their every move and the intricate patterns of every detail, displayed their difference, showcasing their status above ordinary people.

And then, these self-proclaid gentry and scholars watched as the king slowly walked past.

Erging from among the common people.

They fell silent for a mont.

Before this, they had harshly criticized and prepared the details of the Crowning Ceremony, scrutinizing every detail, to the extent that they cared deeply about every single pattern, using traditions everywhere, putting their hearts into every aspect.

There wasn’t a single place without tradition, without the dignity of the ancient Saint King.

They sincerely felt that during their lifeti, to have such an opportunity to preside over the appearance of a king was the ultimate honor for a civil official and scholar, and even, their every action, every word would be recorded in history books, passed on to future generations.

In a turbulent era, to be part of it and have such an opportunity to leave one’s na in history, to still be studied by people hundreds and thousands of years later, was almost their lifelong desire.

The ancient Saint King was said to ascend as a Soaring Dragon, with all ministers clinging to the Dragon Scale, thus ascending to beco celestial beings.

It was once thought to be rely the storytellers’ far-fetched fables to display the sacred legend of the ancient Saint King. Now it seems like sothing illusory, rely saying those ministers of old beca famous because of that ancient Great Emperor.

However, all these expectations, these many desires, were shattered at this mont.

The stronger the previous desire, the stronger the disappointnt now.

That king did not stand with them.

Prince Qin stood with the common people, in ordinary clothing, holding half a bun in his hand, raising his eyebrows, chewing unhurriedly.

Looking levelly at this era, at those Ministry of Rites officials from various countries, at those generals and ministers, he relaxed and slowly composed his spirit, not noticing that the Nine Provinces Tripod seed to undergo a slight change.

And all those ministers from Chen Country, Ying Country, and Central State’s Ministry of Rites officials were all struck by this aura, left speechless for a mont, perhaps because such an event was simply too absurd, unprecedented, leaving them unsure of how to judge.

Not ntioning others, only Nan Hanwen seeing such an aura, felt a pit in his stomach, sensing that his plan to corrupt Prince Qin might not co to fruition.

The silver-haired girl thought for a mont, standing quietly at the back.

Watching Li Guanyi finish eating the staple food of farrs, then step by step walking forward, during this ti, those Ministry of Rites officials’ efforts toward the Crowning Ceremony had Ying Country craftsn and Chen Country craftsn rushing to complete the high platform.

On both sides, Qilin Army soldiers stood with bowed heads, respectfully and solemnly proclaiming the King.

Prince Qin ascended the high platform slowly and gracefully.

At this mont, no words were needed, no luxurious attire.

There were traces of dirt on his body, his brows were calm, Wen Lingjun, Wen He, Yan Daiqing, and others upon seeing him, hadn’t spoken yet, when already an Elder from the Central State’s Ministry of Rites stepped forward, with a righteous look on his face, clasped his hands and said: "Your Majesty!"

Nan Hanwen was stunned, looking astonished at the old Confucian scholar over there.

The latter raised his eyebrows, seemingly brimming with righteous spirit, completely unaffected by Prince Qin’s aura, rely boldly saying:

"Today is an auspicious ti, intended to proclaim to heaven and earth and all people the crowning of a king, requiring various ceremonies, to follow ancestral rites and conduct all actions in such a way that aligns with the heavens above, the earth below, to et the people’s hearts, and correspond to the four seasons."

"Even the ancient virtuous and wise kings did not dare to act wantonly and were strictly self-disciplined, so they achieved great accomplishnts, with the people relying on them, thus the title of Saint King was handed down."

"But although Your Majesty has accomplished great deeds, now you act recklessly and arbitrarily!"

"Above, not befitting the ti; below, not agreeing with the earth."

"Not wearing the Python Robe, not donning the Imperial Robe, without a jade belt around the waist, not adorned with a Jade Pendant, and further covered in dust and dirt, such willfulness is not an act befitting a king!"

"Your Majesty should be a model for the world, acting as an exemplar for those below."

"How can you do so, defying the ancestral rules, not respecting the teachings of the Saint Kings?!"

The Elder of the Ministry of Rites spoke with grief and indignation, in his world, this was utterly disrespectful, it was a matter of rites collapsing and music failing, the gathered eyes, mostly civil officials and scholars, also included mbers of the Qilin Army, though many scholars had a subtle resistance.

On the other hand, the Qilin Army mbers, strategists, and generals, although puzzled, had no resistance in their hearts, only calmness, Li Guanyi softly said: "Ancestral rules?"

"Whose ancestors."

One sentence, like a dagger, pierced into the hearts of these Ministry of Rites officials and scholars, forcibly splitting a crack, as the Prince Qin before their eyes, though already having such achievents, his rits warranted being a king, he was not born in the families of princes, lords, or ministers.

Taiping Duke was too a distinguished hero through military exploits.
