Now reading: Chapter 1750 - 68: Death of the Great Khan from Peace Order, a Eastern novel by Yan ZK.

After stabilizing the rear, he left the various generals to guard.

Xiao Wuliang guarded the main camp.

Li Guanyi personally led Yue Qianfeng to pursue.

Yue Qianfeng gripped his weapon, feeling exhilarated in battle, and said, "Alas, in this hunt, I truly wish to charge into the fray and fiercely battle the Great Khan for three hundred more rounds!"

He found his hands itching greatly.

However, he also knew that on the battlefield, it was not like the Martial World. A prolonged engagent to drive the enemy to a stabilized position over several months with a large-scale army battle required cooperation over reckless bravery.

At this ti, relying on fellow soldiers and comrades.

Coordinating with each other to complete the strategy was more important than individual valor.

The Great Khan, exhausted from running, managed to advance a stretch of road. The Qilin Army’s speed was slower than theirs and couldn’t catch up, but many war generals surrounded him, still with hundreds of trusted aides and brave commanders leading their units, forming a massive procession.

Soone sighed slightly, saying, "Finally shaken them off..."

At this mont, a sharp sound pierced the air suddenly.

Then, an arrow flew out, and in the night sky, a golden phoenix was seen spiraling through the sky, issuing a resonant cry before unleashing a fierce Absolute Skill of the Eighth Layer Heaven.

A woman’s clear, heroic voice rang out with a smile.

"Great Khan, you ca in such a hurry, why leave in such haste?"

Central Plains Divine General, Li Zhaowen.

Li Zhaowen’s eyes were bright, holding a mystical weapon in her hand, with the Xuanjia Army behind her. The banners were of Central Plains style, fluttering in the wind, with the character [Li] on them, though the background was Xiyi City.

The Great Khan, having spent his life on horseback, wasn’t bothered by such levels. In past tis, he might even have been interested in stopping his mount and engaging this junior in combat, but now, he lacked the spirit.

The Great Khan exchanged a few moves with Li Zhaowen. Using his martial vigor, he pushed Li Zhaowen back. He intended to follow up and kill her, but an Eighth Layer Heaven seasoned general in command of troops couldn’t be taken down with just one move.

Li Zhaowen blocked several strikes, and the army advanced with a shout.

A deadly aura pervaded the air.

The Great Khan clashed with Li Zhaowen’s Xiyi City and the Western Regions Cavalry for less than half an hour before breaking contact.

The Great Khan Gudolu defeated Li Zhaowen, severely injuring Yuchi Xiong, killing more than ten generals. The three city lords of the Western Regions died under the spear of the Turkic Great Khan, exhibiting ferocity greatly. He tightened the reins, daringly facing arrows and blades, launching several charges, tearing through Xiyi’s ranks.

A general with a concealed face appeared. The Great Khan pierced a general, recognizing him and shouting, "Is it you, my son Ashina?!"

That general, clad in armor, paid no heed and fought on.

In just a mont, he was disard by the Great Khan.

The Great Khan looked at him, laughing, "You are not my son."

Then, with a lowered voice, he shouted sothing in Turkic, turning his Divine Weapon. The blade rent asunder the night sky over the plains, causing several brave military leaders nearby to spew blood from their throats, falling from their horses.

With a twist of his palm, the Great Khan jabbed the spear’s butt into the general’s throat.

In a single move, he sent him flying back several ters, only landing on the ground far behind.

Then, summoning his courage, he led the charge to break the encirclent. Though he was an old wolf on the plains, with hair as white as snow, he still personally slew over a hundred colonels, breaking through Xiyi City’s blockade.

Li Zhaowen swallowed the blood in her mouth, feeling a heaviness in her chest.

The Great Khan’s might was terrifying, even in such a dire situation, like a trapped tiger. If not for relying on her natural talent, or if the Great Khan had chosen to linger, her condition could have been worse than just being injured.

Leaning on her spear, she wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, saying, "...Truly difficult to handle."

"From last autumn to this state now, so much ti has passed, continually whittling away the Turkic territory with soft knives, yet he still retains such battle intent and fierceness."

"Had we not chosen Mr. Po Jun’s combat skill at the start, we might have been dragged by this Khan into years of drawn-out warfare."

Breaking Army remarked, "Precisely because of this perilous situation, he has such battle spirit."

"Mourning soldiers will surely win; putting him in a desperate position, he will co out alive. Could it be that the Great Khan, once the world’s second best general, lacks such tactics and courage? It’s just..."

The strategist with purple eyes looked over at the Seventh Prince Ashina, who staggered to his feet, clutching his chest. Breaking Army watched for a long ti in silence before averting his gaze, as Ashina held the chest plate punctured by his father’s spear.

The heavy armor bore a sinister scar from the thrust.

An elite Divine General could fight amid thousands, the released Dharma Form strong enough to pierce a mountain, but the Great Khan’s spear left only a mark on Ashina’s armor.

Perhaps it was the Jin Qi that stopped it. Ashina felt his chest heavy, struggling to breathe.

He had co to this battlefield willingly, facing his father.

For the survival of the grassland people, he had to do this.

If not, ordinary people just living by herding on the grasslands would find it difficult to survive in the future world.

In the chaos of this great battle, many people heard what the Great Khan said, but even those who understood the Turkic language of the grassland couldn’t decipher the aning.

They only knew that the renowned general, who gained glorious feats and once held the position of a Grand Steward, always kept the armor pierced by the Great Khan.
