Han Xinche didn’t imdiately respond; instead, he pulled Gong Jue Chen into a nearby alley, where another person was waiting—Han Xin Rui.
“Chenglin!” Han Xin Rui beca even more excited upon seeing Gong Jue Chen.
“This isn’t the place to talk; let’s go to General Han’s mansion,” Han Xinche, still more rational, said, and without caring whether Gong Jue Chen agreed or not, he dragged Gong Jue Chen off to General Han’s mansion.
Once at General Han’s mansion, Han Xinche and Han Xin Rui brought Gong Jue Chen into a room they considered especially safe.
It was then that Han Xinche spoke again, “The imperial consort’s maid Ling’er has already told us, saying soone who looks a lot like our elder sister went to see her. She even checked the birthmark on that person’s back and is certain it’s our elder sister’s son.”
