Gong Juechen was sitting at the doorway of the room, right on the doorstep. As soon as he saw Ye Zhi rush out, he wanted to follow: “Zhizhi, where are you going?”
Ye Zhi turned around with a look that could kill: “Don’t follow !”
Without further ado, she continued running forward.
Gong Juechen didn’t understand what Ye Zhi was going to do, but when she told him not to follow, that only made him want to trail her even more. Of course, he did so stealthily.
Since Gong Juechen followed Ye Zhi almost without a sound, she didn’t realize she was being tracked.
Ye Zhi quickly went back to her own courtyard, and the mont she entered her room, she found a small dical kit hidden under her bed. She rembered this kit contained a box of fever dicine.

When Ye Zhi ran into the main courtyard and saw Gong Juechen sitting on the step, she ignored him and continued running inside.
Upon entering the main bedroom of the main courtyard, Ye Zhi asked all the maidservants inside to leave, and then she quickly locked the door.
Gong Juechen wanted to co in, but she refused and locked him out as well.
Gong Juechen then decided to check the dical kit under Ye Zhi’s bed. Although he inspected it, he didn’t recognize the items inside and found them very strange.

Once the fever dicine took effect, the four little ones began to sweat. An Jing and Ye Zhi were overjoyed, but Xiao Changyi was startled, fearing that the children’s conditions had gotten worse.
Seeing Xiao Changyi’s handso face turn pale from fright, An Jing hurriedly reassured him, “Husband, this fever dicine is ant to reduce heat through sweating.”
Ye Zhi also soothed, “Brother-in-law, the sweating ans it’s working. If this continues, Jing’er and the others’ fever will soon go down. You don’t need to worry too much.”
