Xiao Changyi, however, did not laugh. Instead, he lowered his head to steady An Jing’s mouth, which was breaking into a smile.
An Jing was initially taken aback, then let Xiao Changyi kiss her and wrapped her arms around his neck in response.

After all, Wild Goose Jade is a Commandery Princess; we can’t slight her and give others reason to laugh at her status.”
“On behalf of Zhuqing and the Commandery Princess, I thank the lady,” he said.
“Alright, you may go now. And please tell Wild Goose Jade that your grandfather and I will host a banquet today, as a welco for her moving in and becoming part of this mansion’s family.”
In the eyes of An Jing and Xiao Changyi, ng Zhuqing and ng Lanqing were not only mbers of the ng family but also part of their own family.
