Ye Zhi ignored Gong Juechen and instead said to An Jing, “Boss, then I’m heading out to look for sothing suitable for to do.”

Over these days, Ye Zhi had gotten used to Gong Juechen always following her, so she continued walking without a word.
Gong Juechen wasn’t annoyed and asked again, “Why are you looking for work to do? Isn’t it quite nice as it is?”
Finally, Ye Zhi spoke, sounding quite irritated, “I want to make money.”
“Money? I have it, I’ll give you so,” said Gong Juechen, particularly happy. “How much do you want?”
“Scram. I want to earn my own. I want to support myself with my own two hands.”
Upon hearing this, Gong Juechen said imdiately, “Then I’ll give you a money-earning job. How about managing my money? I’ll pay you a salary. If I don’t pay you, you can just use that money; anyway, my money will be yours sooner or later.”
Ye Zhi was puzzled, “Why would your money be mine sooner or later?”
“You’ve already given yourself to , aren’t we going to get married? After we marry, of course, everything I own will be yours,” Gong Juechen said as if it were a matter of course.

Today was already the third day of the tenth month, and the New Emperor’s ascension was set for the sixth. With just two days remaining, Ye Zhi felt she could wait and agreed.
Upon returning to Prince Yi’s Mansion, Ye Zhi told An Jing about her plans to work odd jobs at the Embroidery Building.
Yet An Jing didn’t want Ye Zhi to do odd jobs.
