An Jing laughed: “What do you want first, a hug or the gifts?”
The four little ones imdiately replied in their tender voices: “Hug first, then gifts.”
“So well-behaved,” praised An Jing on the spot.
Xiao Changyi got down from the carriage, and seeing the four little ones running towards him for a hug, he bent down and embraced them. After the hugs, he took down the wooden cars from the carriage, one for each child.
One car each, all the sa, no need to fight over them—a fair distribution.
As for the wooden cars, they were still quite unfamiliar to the four little ones. They just looked at their own wooden cars, not sure how to play with them.
“Daddy, how do we play with these little cars?” Su Yi Jing was the first to ask.

“Also, you can use both feet to scoot on the ground and get the car to move on your own.”
Unlike modern vehicles, these cars had no chains; they moved either by one’s own foot power or by being pushed by others.
