"You’re thinking the right way." An Jing breathed a huge sigh of relief. She was really afraid her good friend would do sothing silly. "No matter how he annoys you, don’t hurt yourself because of him."
Upon hearing An Jing’s words, Ye Zhi suddenly recalled the ti when she gave the chilblain cream to Shi Shi and the others, while she had none for herself, resulting in her hands and feet being covered in chilblains.

"Ye Zi? Ye Zi? Ye Zi!" An Jing spoke again a couple of tis, noticing that Ye Zhi wasn’t listening to her at all. So she started calling Ye Zhi, but Ye Zhi didn’t respond, lost in her thoughts. Then, An Jing nudged her with her elbow.
Being nudged, Ye Zhi ca back to her senses and quickly asked, "What’s up, Boss?"
"What are you thinking about, so entranced? I called you twice, and you didn’t even notice. Also, I guess you didn’t hear what I said to you just now, right?"
Ye Zhi chuckled awkwardly, "I wasn’t thinking about anything, just zoned out for a bit, maybe didn’t sleep well last night. So, Boss, what were you saying to just now?"
An Jing didn’t pay much attention to Ye Zhi not hearing her earlier and said, "I was saying, he’s been kind of chasing/following you all this ti and has done a lot for you. Now, he’s even cried for you; do you really not like him even a little bit?"
