The white rabbit and pheasant were already taken care of by Su Yi Jing, so An Jing asked Xiao Changyi to handle them and cook them for lunch.

As for the six little white rabbits, An Jing found them quite adorable and planned to raise them. However, seeing that Qingqing seed to particularly like these six little white rabbits, An Jing simply let Qingqing take care of them.

While raising the six little white rabbits, Qingqing rarely showed a childlike innocent smile.

During lunch, Su Yi Jing asked An Jing, "Mother, the dates on the date tree on the mountain seem ripe. Do you want to eat so? I can pick so for you."

An Jing smiled and said, "Then pick so for , I haven’t had fresh dates in a long ti."

Imdiately, An Jing looked at Qingqing, "Qingqing, you’re cooped up in the house all day, it must be boring. Why don’t you go with Jing’er to pick dates?"

It was obvious that An Jing was trying to create an opportunity for Su Yi Jing and Qingqing to be alone.

Qingqing did not realize that An Jing was giving her and Su Yi Jing a chance to be alone; she was just thinking she was idle all day, so she agreed to go with Su Yi Jing to pick dates: "Okay."

After lunch, and after a short rest, Qingqing went up the mountain with Su Yi Jing.

The date tree was right by the mountainside, and the dates on the tree were quite large.

"You pick them up below, I’ll go up and knock them down." Su Yi Jing instructed Qingqing to pick up the dates below while he climbed up the tree with a bamboo pole and stood on the tree to knock down dates with the pole.

With one strike of the bamboo pole, lots of dates showered down.

"Ouch..." Quite a few dates fell and hit Qingqing on the head, making her wince in pain and quickly cover her head with her hand.

The swelling on Qingqing’s face had completely disappeared, with her delicate features and fair skin, she really looked quite beautiful.

Seeing Qingqing was hit by the dates, Su Yi Jing quickly put down the bamboo pole, jumped off the date tree, and urgently asked her about the situation.

Seeing no more dates falling down, Qingqing finally removed her hand from her head and shook it at Su Yi Jing: "I’m fine."

Su Yi Jing was a bit angry: "Didn’t you know you should dodge?"

Qingqing was a bit embarrassed: "I didn’t have ti..."

Su Yi Jing suddenly lost his anger and said, "Stand to the side a bit. After I’m done, you can pick them."

Qingqing, however, didn’t stand to the side but still stood under the date tree. She even looked up at the dates on the tree, the sunlight glittering on them, a bit dazzling, yet it made her feel extraordinarily good.

It really was a sense of relaxation she had never felt before.

Even though she had lost her mory and didn’t rember anything from before.

After glancing at the bamboo pole that Su Yi Jing had placed aside, she hesitantly said to Su Yi Jing: "Let hit a few tis, I want to hit..."

The last three words were barely audible, but Su Yi Jing heard them.

Without any hesitation, Su Yi Jing went to get the bamboo pole and let Qingqing knock down the dates from the tree.

Qingqing couldn’t climb the tree, she could only stand under the tree and knock down the dates reachable by the bamboo pole.

She really only knocked twice, but her smile grew much more, and her smile wasn’t bright or dazzling, yet it gave a comforting feeling like a spring breeze.

Su Yi Jing stood there, unable to help being a little entranced.

To be honest, at first, he didn’t have any unusual feelings for Qingqing, but when Qingqing looked at him with those bewildered and extrely helpless eyes, as if there were only him in her eyes, his heart started to race uncontrollably, pounding wildly, and he even felt nervous.

He had never felt this way before; it was the first ti he thought that this girl he had brought back should belong to him.
