When Su Changyi ca out after his shower, An Jing was already asleep, still holding the remote, while the TV was still on.
Su Changyi gently took the remote from An Jing’s hand, turned off the TV, and then carefully lay down behind An Jing, gently holding her.
Because An Jing’s belly was too big, it wasn’t comfortable to hug her from the front. Plus, An Jing could only lie on her side now, so naturally, Su Changyi hugged her from behind.
An Jing was sleeping in a daze, but when Su Changyi gently held her, she subconsciously moved a little closer to him. After exchanging their daily shallow goodnight kiss with the Su Changyi who leaned down to kiss her, she slept more soundly.
From start to finish, An Jing didn’t open her eyes, but Su Changyi’s once-cold eyes beca increasingly gentle.
The person in his arms, whether she was old or young, he cherished her as always.
...
The next morning, after Su Changyi got himself and An Jing ready to go out, he helped the pregnant An Jing downstairs.
As soon as they reached downstairs, they saw Su Chengyu walking out.
An Jing called out, "Chengyu, where are you going so early? Have you had breakfast?"
"I’ve already had breakfast." Su Chengyu paused. "I have sothing to do at the bar, need to go to E City for a bit. I think I ntioned it to my brother yesterday during the day. Didn’t he tell you?"
Su Changyi said, "I didn’t think it was important, so I didn’t ntion it."
Su Chengyu: "..."
An Jing just found it funny. She first gave Su Changyi a light push, telling him not to hurt Su Chengyu’s feelings, then she smiled and said, "Well, you go ahead and be careful driving."
"Okay." Only then did Su Chengyu turn and leave.
Su Changyi continued to help An Jing downstairs, and An Jing whispered softly to him, "Chengyu going to E City, he might run into Wen Xian."
"Let’s leave it to fate." Su Changyi said flatly. "If in this lifeti there’s no fate, then even if they et, it’s just whatever."
An Jing nodded and didn’t say any more.
While An Jing and Su Changyi were halfway through breakfast, An Baobei also entered the dining room to have breakfast, and An Jing told her that Su Chengyu had gone to E City.
An Baobei imdiately pouted, "Even though I’ve told myself to let it go, Mom, don’t tease like this. Try not to ntion E City in front of , whenever I hear it I think of him."
An Jing laughed, "If I don’t ntion it, would you not think of him?"
"But thinking of him on my own, and you bringing him up, are two different things." An Baobei argued.
"Alright, then I’ll try not to ntion it to you in the future."
An Baobei, however, laughed cheekily, "Actually, it doesn’t matter if you ntion it more, because whether you bring it up or not, I still like him."
An Jing could only smile in disbelief.
After breakfast, An Baobei went upstairs, watched a movie, and then, not knowing what else to do in her boredom, she picked up her phone to play. Upon logging into Weibo, she found that ’One Person’ had actually initiated a ssage with her.
This was the first ti ’One Person’ reached out to her. In the past, it was always her ssaging him.
But the ssage was just a brief "Are you there," sent last night at ten.
Too lazy to type, An Baobei replied using voice, "I’m here now."
Then she explained, "I wasn’t on Weibo last night, just saw your ssage."
As she spoke, she started to laugh, "It’s rare, this being the first ti you’ve ever reached out to , is there sothing up?"
