After the old man returned, he didn’t co to knock on the door but instead went straight to the kitchen to busy himself with dinner.
Seeing this, Chen Yang and Xiao Cui didn’t go out either but continued discussing dical matters in the room.

After speaking, Chen Yang rembered he had promised Xiao Cui last ti that he would open a clinic for her when she was ready to practice on her own.

"Okay, mom, Chen Yang and I will be right there."
Xiao Cui responded imdiately, then stood up with Chen Yang and opened the door to go out.
As soon as they reached the living room, Chen Yang saw a table full of sumptuous dinners.
There were all sorts of seafood like lobster, abalone, crabs.
In addition, there was a bottle of drink and a bottle of rather expensive old wine.
Seeing the wine, Chen Yang knew that the old man would surely drink to his heart’s content with him.
But it was just as well, as he didn’t have much to do today, so having a drink wouldn’t hurt.

Seeing Chen Yang’s clear speech and steady expression without any sign of drunkenness, Xiao Cui nodded in agreent.
After speaking with her mom, she followed Chen Yang out.
Once in the car, Chen Yang took Xiao Cui directly to Elder Li’s clinic.

"Hey, Yang Zi, what brings you here so late at night? You wouldn’t happen to need my help with sothing at this hour, would you?" Elder Li chuckled as he put down the balance beam and walked toward Chen Yang.
Hearing this, Chen Yang laughed sheepishly twice, then frankly said, "You’ve guessed it right; I do need your help with sothing."
Usually, when Elder Li made such a teasing remark, Chen Yang would typically laugh awkwardly, then circle around the matter before stating his purpose.
This ti, he admitted straight out, and this sudden change in attitude left Elder Li montarily stunned.
Then he couldn’t help but laugh and repeatedly shake his head.
