“Is that trunk the den?” Chen Yang stopped and pointed at the trunk to ask.
Hei Pi and Old Sun also halted their steps, nodding: “Yes, that’s the black bear’s den. Hei Pi saw it crawl in, it’s huge.”
Chen Yang listened, without speaking, he scanned around, observing the nearby terrain.

“Yes, Yang Zi, the danger from a black bear is even greater than a tiger. Let’s try to outsmart it,” Hei Pi added.
Both Hei Pi and Old Sun advised against it, fearing things would go wrong.

When Old Sun was about to leave, he offered his hunting rifle to Chen Yang for self-defense.
Chen Yang declined with a smile.
“Old Sun, you’d better hang onto the rifle; you all need it more,” Chen Yang said.
Old Sun smiled and agreed, took the rifle, and left with Hei Pi and the others.
After seeing them off, Chen Yang prepared all the anesthetics he brought.
