"Haha, it’s been a while since we’ve had such a delightful al together," said Yang Ruoxi at the table, who was still the happiest and most excited.
This girl really loves lively occasions.
"Yeah, it’s just a sha that Annie and Qingyue aren’t here; it would be even livelier," Wu Kexin added with a smile.
"They’re both busy right now. Let’s invite them to get together when our village project is up and running," Chen Yang replied with a smile, while also opening drinks and pouring a glass for everyone.
Boom.
Just as they were about to start eating, the outside sky, which was pitch black, was suddenly illuminated by lightning.
The sudden clap of thunder startled the four girls.
"Why is it suddenly thundering?" Wang Jingman patted her anxious chest, saying nervously.
Chen Yang was also taken aback by the sudden thunder, then laughed and said, "That’s how the weather is, but it’s actually perfect. With it raining outside, it makes having hot pot even cozier. Let’s start eating before it all gets cold."
Chen Yang made a joking remark, instantly easing the atmosphere.
The four girls chatted and joked, ignoring the thunder outside.
After a while, the sound of thunder was followed by a gentle, drizzling rain.
It was rather pleasant to have hot pot inside while it rained outside.

Wu Kexin, Li Han, and Wang Jingman brought this up to Chen Yang.
Chen Yang thought about it and agreed.
However, he didn’t believe the problem was unsolvable.
While there’s no large water source in the rear mountain of Liuhe Village, Chen Yang seed to rember there being a large reservoir in the mountains behind Shangshan Village.
Though it’s a bit far, constructing a waterway to divert the water seed feasible.
"I’ll figure out the water source. I rember there being a big reservoir behind Shangshan Village," Chen Yang said.
"Alright, go check it out. If it works, I’ll gather so manpower for it later," Li Han nodded in agreent.
"Okay."
With Chen Yang’s agreent, the topic wasn’t discussed further.
They turned to chatting, gossiping, and joking instead.
The al was enjoyed by all.
It stretched on until past nine in the evening before they stopped.
After dinner, Wang Jingman initially wanted to head back.
But it was still raining heavily, making it inconvenient to travel back to the county at this hour.
Even though driving was an option, it wasn’t safe.
So with the persuasion of Yang Ruoxi, Wu Kexin, and Li Han, Wang Jingman agreed to stay over for the night.
With Wang Jingman staying, the fun naturally continued.
The five of them partied at Chen Yang’s place, enjoying their evening.
They played cards, drank, chatted, and gossiped happily.
The rrint continued until the early hours when they finally stopped.
Afterward, Chen Yang was promptly kicked out of his room.
Chen Yang was naturally reluctant to leave, but with Yang Ruoxi, Li Han, and Wu Kexin being so firm, he had no choice but to find a place to sleep alone.
The next morning when they awoke, they had breakfast together at Chen Yang’s ho.
They then went their separate ways.
Yang Ruoxi, Li Han, and Wu Kexin went to the office for a eting.

After a little over ten minutes, they arrived in the county.
He dropped Wang Jingman off at the hotel.
"Chen Yang, I’ll be off for now. I’ll call you when the investnt rolls in," Wang Jingman told Chen Yang.
"Alright, I’ll be waiting for your call."
"Yes, see you," Wang Jingman nodded with a smile, then opened the door and got out.
After seeing off Wang Jingman, Chen Yang didn’t head straight back to Liuhe Village. Instead, he took so ti to visit Yang Caiyun.
For the past month or two, Chen Yang had been busy with the construction matters in Liuhe Village and hadn’t t with Wang Caiyun in a long ti.
He hadn’t even had ti to check out how Wang Caiyun’s newly opened River Fish Restaurant was doing.
Now that he had so ti, Chen Yang drove over to Yang Caiyun’s new River Fish Restaurant.
Chen Yang hadn’t been to the new restaurant since it opened, but he did visit once during renovations, so he knew where it was located.
So when he decided to go, he didn’t inform Wang Caiyun, hoping to surprise her.
But unexpectedly, when he arrived at the restaurant, he found it wasn’t open yet.
Seeing this, he had no choice but to take out his phone and call Yang Caiyun.
