Fu Deren frowned and rolled down the car window.
"What’s up, is there sothing going on?" Fu Deren asked seriously.
The young man glanced at Chen Yang inside the car, then smiled and replied to Fu Deren, "Brother Ren, among the passengers in that car earlier, there was a girl who said she knew Brother Chen. At first, I didn’t take it seriously, but now that I think about it, I felt I should ntion it to you guys."
"A girl?" Upon hearing this, Fu Deren imdiately turned his head in confusion, looking at Chen Yang.

"What does she look like?" Instead of saying much, Chen Yang actively asked about the situation.
Upon hearing this, the young man promptly described the situation truthfully.
After listening, Chen Yang thought, isn’t this Nizi?
"Where is she now?" Chen Yang asked.
"She’s still in the car, cooperating with the police to handle the issue," the young man quickly replied.
"Let’s get down and have a look." Upon hearing she was in the car, Chen Yang imdiately opened the door and got out.
Seeing this, Fu Deren followed suit.
The two arrived at the scene, and Chen Yang imdiately spotted Nizi in the crowd.

"Yes, little sister, you were lucky today. You happened to run into and Brother Chen Yang passing by, otherwise, who knows what those thugs might have done." At this point, Fu Deren chid in from the side.
Upon hearing this, Nizi turned to look at Fu Deren.
Since Fu Deren was from Shangshan Village and often road around the county town, Nizi didn’t recognize him.

But between his tone and the words implied, it was clear he hoped for a better relationship with Chen Yang in the future.

Upon hearing this, Chen Yang smirked lightly.
Actually, with regards to Fu Deren, Chen Yang didn’t have a strong impression, positive or negative.
He wasn’t one to hold grudges.
The past events are in the past, and he wouldn’t dwell on them.
With Fu Deren showing such an attitude now, Chen Yang didn’t mind forming another friendship.
After all, they were neighbors, and once Liuhe Village is developed, Fu Deren might lend a hand.
"What you said makes sense. It’s all in the past now," Chen Yang said with a smile.
Upon hearing Chen Yang’s response, Fu Deren’s smile grew even wider.
He quickly nodded, "Yes, yes, Brother Chen Yang, your words ease my heart. I’ll drink this glass as an apology."
After saying this, Fu Deren drank it all in one go.
Chen Yang smiled slightly, said no more, and once they finished the al, he and Nizi took the car Fu Deren arranged and returned to Liuhe Village.
