In the driver’s seat, seeing the two had finally gotten in, Chen Yang started the car.

Yang Ruoxi didn’t seem to care about the reasoning, her little huff confird her accusation against Chen Yang.
Chen Yang was both amused and exasperated but said nothing more.
After turning the car around, he stepped on the gas, and the car sped off.
On the way, the five ladies were in high spirits.
Chatting and laughing throughout the journey.
After all, it had been so long since they’d gone out together.
In the past few months, they’d mostly stayed in Liuchuan Village, seldom returning or going out.
Yang Ruoxi and Dai Annie even seed like they had beco part of Liuchuan Village.

Half an hour later, Chen Yang’s car arrived at the biggest mall in the county town.
It housed the most famous hotpot restaurant in the area.
After finding a parking spot in the underground parking lot, Chen Yang led Yang Ruoxi and the others out of the car and took the elevator to the hotpot restaurant.
This top-notch hotpot restaurant was naturally quite grand in terms of decor and space.
It was spacious and quite luxurious.
Comparatively, it was much better than your average hotpot place.
Plus, it was bustling, with almost the entire hall filled with guests.
And it was still only noon. By afternoon or late at night, the business might be even more booming.
“How many, sir?”
As Chen Yang led Wu Kexin, Li Han, and the others into the hall, a courteous waiter imdiately approached.
“Six of us.”
“Alright, sir, please follow to a large table.”
The waiter courteously guided Chen Yang and the five ladies to their seats.

Chen Yang didn’t order himself; instead, he handed the nu to Yang Ruoxi, letting her decide.

Yang Ruoxi smiled as she took the nu and imdiately began discussing the options with Dai Annie and Wu Kexin.
