Her words imdiately earned a roll of the eyes from Lili.
"Hehe, Dr. Chen, I heard from Qianning that your dical skills are exceptional, so I wanted to ask if you could help take a look. If you could treat the illness, I would be imnsely grateful to you." Upon ntioning the important topic, Lili politely approached Chen Yang.
Now Chen Yang understood why Lili addressed him as Dr. Chen upon their first eting. She ca with the intention of seeking dical treatnt.
No wonder.
"I wouldn’t say my skills are exceptional, but I’m good at treating so rare and difficult diseases. I’m willing to help, but you should know that my dical fees are quite high. Qianning should have ntioned this to you." Chen Yang didn’t overly humble himself. Being able to cure others, Chen Yang naturally wouldn’t shirk the responsibility.
"Hehe, Qianning ntioned it to . As long as you can help cure my father, everything is negotiable, and the dical fees are not a problem at all." Hearing Chen Yang’s words, Lili imdiately responded, assuring him not to worry about the dical fees.
It seems that Yan Qianning was right; Lili’s family is indeed quite wealthy.
When helping friends with dical treatnts, Chen Yang usually doesn’t charge them.
But when a family is wealthy, it’s different; charging a bit is acceptable.
"Alright, in that case, I’ll take a look after we eat. If there are no issues, I’ll proceed with the treatnt, and we can discuss the fees then. How does that sound?" Chen Yang agreed.
"Sure, that’s no problem, Dr. Chen. Thank you." Lili couldn’t contain her gratitude when Chen Yang agreed.
The subsequent al didn’t involve any serious conversations; it was filled with pleasant chit-chat.
As everyone got along well, the topics naturally beca more expansive.
After finishing the al, it was originally supposed to be Chen Yang who settled the bill.
However, Lili was very courteous. Since she wanted to invite Chen Yang to her ho for treatnt, she readily took care of the bill.
This act left a good impression on Chen Yang.
Even though it was no big deal, small details can reveal a lot about a person’s character.
After paying the bill, the four of them left the restaurant together.
Yan Qianning and the others had co by taxi and didn’t drive, so they conveniently rode with Chen Yang in his car.
Although the van wasn’t as comfortable as a luxury car, it wasn’t much worse than regular cars.
It was even more spacious and convenient than ordinary sedans.
"Where is your ho? Send the location, and I’ll drive over."
Once in the car, Chen Yang asked for the address.
Yan Qianning and the others had just gotten in, while Lili hadn’t spoken yet.
Yan Qianning was the first to take out her phone and send the location to Chen Yang.
"I’ve sent the address to you, the exact location," Yan Qianning said.
"Okay." Chen Yang nodded and then opened the chat with Yan Qianning.
After carefully looking at the map, he knew the destination.
Lili’s family really is sowhat well-off; they live in the best neighborhood in the county, the sa one where Li Han’s family resides.
The only difference is that Li Han’s family lives in a villa, while Lili’s family resides in an apartnt building.
But that’s impressive in itself; they can be considered affluent in the county.
Upon arriving, Chen Yang parked the car in a spot under Lili’s apartnt, following her directions.
"Dr. Chen, my family lives upstairs. Please make your way there." Lili said.
Chen Yang stopped the car and got out.
"Alright, let’s go."
Chen Yang and Yan Qianning, along with Zhengzheng, followed Lili up the building.
Since it’s a high-end neighborhood, there are fewer people coming and going in each building.
Taking the elevator was convenient, and they reached the 20th floor, Lili’s ho, in no ti.
Upon entering, they were greeted by high-end furniture and a luxurious decor style.
"Dr. Chen, Qianning, please wear shoe covers instead of changing shoes." Upon entering the house, Lili promptly took out several shoe covers from the shoe cabinet for Chen Yang and Yan Qianning.
Only after did they enter the house.
"Dr. Chen, please have a seat, enjoy so tea, and I’ll go check on my father." Lili welcod Chen Yang to sit on the living room sofa and poured him a cup of tea.
"Alright, you go ahead. We can sit here for a while."
Since there were so considerations at ho, Chen Yang understood and didn’t rush to examine the patient, following her suggestion to wait in the living room.
"Hehe, thank you, Dr. Chen." Lili saw that Chen Yang didn’t mind waiting and gave a polite smile before heading to another room.
Chen Yang, Yan Qianning, and Lili enjoyed tea in the living room.
"I had heard Lili’s family is wealthy, but I didn’t expect them to be this wealthy. This set of furniture must be quite expensive." After Lili left, Yan Qianning observed the decor in amazent.
The furniture was more striking than the decor, as most of it was made of rosewood.
Anyone with so knowledge would recognize these pieces are not cheap.
"Mm, not cheap, all high-end rosewood. A set like this easily costs hundreds of thousands, and the living room decor is nice too. This house is worth at least two million." Chen Yang responded to Yan Qianning’s remark with his analysis.
Though Yan Qianning was just marveling earlier and didn’t seek a serious answer.
Hearing Chen Yang’s reply, she was very surprised.
A house worth two million? This is in a county town.
"That’s quite affluent; with so much money they could buy a house in the provincial capital," said Yan Qianning.
Zhengzheng was also surprised, but not as much as Yan Qianning.
"They have a house in the provincial capital; this is just their hotown. Lili’s husband mainly does business there and earns quite a lot." Zhengzheng added.
"No wonder they can spend two million on a house here. They have another in the provincial capital," concluded Yan Qianning.
With an understanding expression, the three of them continued sipping their tea in silence, waiting for Lili.
After waiting for about three to five minutes, Lili returned.
"Hehe, sorry for making you wait, Dr. Chen and Qianning. It took so ti to wake my father," Lili apologized.
"No problem, can we go see him now?"
Family elders often have special needs, which Chen Yang understood and didn’t mind.
"Yes, Dr. Chen, please."
Lili smiled, gestured invitingly, and led Chen Yang and the others into the room.
Upon entering the room, Chen Yang’s eyes imdiately landed on the bed.
He saw an elderly man with white hair, appearing weak and frail, propped up against the wall, looking at them with tired eyes.
The room was spacious, but cluttered with dical equipnt and expensive comrcial supplents, leaving little walking space.
"Dr. Chen, this is my father. He suddenly beca ill two years ago, and his health has been declining. We couldn’t pinpoint the cause despite multiple hospital visits. The doctors just advised rest and nutrition." Lili began explaining her father’s situation as soon as they entered the room.
However, as Chen Yang had entered, he had already noticed so clues from the elderly man’s complexion.
Despite his actual age, the man appeared unusually old and frail.
This was caused by illness.
