Today Chen Yang went out without expecting to treat anyone’s illness.

That’s why he didn’t bring the silver needle. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have to use his hands to massage.

A few pricks with the silver needle would directly alleviate the internal injury.

However, it didn’t matter much; without the silver needle, it was just a bit more troubleso.

Chen Yang massaged seriously for about ten minutes before stopping.

After stopping, Chen Yang took out two elixirs from his pocket and had the elderly man take them.

"These two dicines, one is for treating internal injuries, and the other is a tonic for nourishing the body. You should take them," Chen Yang said.

Although the elderly man was in pain from Chen Yang’s massage earlier, he clearly felt that Chen Yang’s technique seed beneficial to his health.

With just a brief massage, his body suddenly felt much more comfortable.

Without thinking, he imdiately swallowed the elixirs given by Chen Yang.

Within a few minutes of taking the elixirs, his complexion improved rapidly, and his eyes started to regain focus.

The effect was undeniably quick.

"Dad! How are you feeling? Did Dr. Chen’s treatnt work?"

Seeing Chen Yang stop, Lili and Yan Jianping imdiately ca over with concern, asking about the elderly man’s condition.

The elderly man bead with a smile.

"Good...I feel much better, showing signs of improvent."

Although the elderly man still exhibited so shortness of breath, he was much better than before.

Hearing the elderly man’s response, Yan Jianping and Lili were overjoyed.

"The elderly man’s condition has improved. By tomorrow at the latest, he should be able to walk. Then I’ll give you two prescriptions, and as long as you take them, he can fully recover."

At this point, Chen Yang chid in.

While Chen Yang seed to discuss the elderly man’s improvents, he subtly hinted at Yan Jianping and Lili.

The visible improvent of the elderly man proved that Chen Yang’s dical skills were indeed effective.

It was ti for Yan Jianping and Lili to pay.

And both Yan Jianping and Lili understood Chen Yang’s implication.

Lili was overjoyed to see the elderly man’s recovery, harboring no other thoughts.

But Yan Jianping started to get cunning.

"Dr. Chen, you just did a little, and my dad got better? That can’t be right," Yan Jianping said.

Chen Yang looked at him: "You’ve seen the elderly man’s condition. He was barely breathing just now. Now he can talk; he’s improving. By tomorrow, he should be walking."

Chen Yang reiterated the elderly man’s condition.

Despite knowing the elderly man’s recovery, Yan Jianping still believed that such miraculous occurrences weren’t possible.

How could soone gravely injured and on the brink of death beco energetic again with just a few massages and two pills?

There had to be another issue at play.

"Dr. Chen, maybe my dad’s condition wasn’t as complex as you said. He just had a minor issue, which is why he recovered quickly," Yan Jianping squinted his eyes, staring at Chen Yang.

The intent behind his words was quite evident.

Though his words were courteous, it was obvious he was questioning Chen Yang.

Did he think Chen Yang was deceiving him?

"As I said, you witnessed the elderly man’s prior condition. I didn’t exaggerate his illness. His recovery is purely due to my treatnt thods," Chen Yang understood what Yan Jianping ant, but he didn’t directly escalate the situation. Instead, he patiently explained.

"Exactly, Brother Yan. Chen Yang wouldn’t deceive anyone. I’ve witnessed his dical skills myself; there’s no way he’s deceiving you."

Yan Qianning, realizing sothing was off, spoke up to support Chen Yang.

But regardless of what others said, Yan Jianping remained unmoved.

After a long silence, he finally said, "Dr. Chen, your treatnt process was too simple. I think the dical fee of three hundred thousand is very unreasonable!"

Seeing that other argunts were futile, Yan Jianping stopped beating around the bush and shared his honest thoughts.

Nicer said, he thought the fee was unreasonable.

Frankly, he just didn’t want to pay up.

With such blunt statents, Chen Yang frowned.

"What do you an by that? We agreed before starting that curing the elderly man’s illness would cost three hundred thousand. Now that he’s better, you’re reneging because you think my treatnt was too simple?" Chen Yang frowned, staring at Yan Jianping.

"Brother Yan, aren’t you burning bridges after crossing them? We all saw the elderly man’s condition earlier, and Chen Yang’s treatnt clearly showed significant results. How can you deny that?"

Yan Qianning couldn’t stand it anymore and spoke up again, supporting Chen Yang.

"That’s right, the elderly man’s condition improved rapidly thanks to Chen Yang. Regardless of the simplicity of the process, the price was agreed upon beforehand."

Zhengzheng also stood firmly with Chen Yang, believing that the agreed price should be paid regardless.

Moreover, even if the treatnt was simple, it was still a testant to his skills.

Do they really need a surgery with large equipnt to justify a three hundred thousand dical bill?

Such logic is absurd.

Yan Qianning and Zhengzheng’s expressions soured.

Lili, seeing this situation, felt a bit awkward and hurried to diate.

"Haha, everyone, let’s not quarrel. My dad’s condition has just improved. We can discuss the dical fee outside," Lili laughed, trying to lighten the mood.

Hearing this, Chen Yang said nothing more and followed Lili’s suggestion, leaving the room first.

Yan Qianning and Zhengzheng, seeing this, also followed Chen Yang out.

They initially thought Lili and Yan Jianping would follow them out as well.

But to their surprise, neither of them ca out, as if they were negotiating sothing inside.

"Chen Yang, don’t worry. Lili isn’t like that. If she said she’d pay, she definitely will," seeing Lili didn’t co out, Yan Qianning quickly reassured Chen Yang.

Promising Chen Yang peace of mind.

Zhengzheng also nodded beside her, attesting to their trust in Lili’s character.

But Chen Yang remained silent upon hearing this.

He didn’t quite feel the sa way.

Judging from the dynamics between Yan Jianping and Lili, it seed that Yan Jianping was the decision-maker in the family.

If Yan Jianping didn’t want to pay, Lili couldn’t do much.

But Chen Yang wasn’t worried about them not paying; he had his ways.

As Chen Yang thought about this, the door opened, and Lili awkwardly walked out of the room.

Only she stepped out, not Yan Jianping.

"Lili, what about the dical fee? Chen Yang made everything clear when he ca; doing this is really inappropriate," seeing Lili co out, Yan Qianning imdiately approached her and started speaking.

Lili’s face grew even more awkward upon hearing this.

"Qianning, I understand your point. I don’t want this either... But my husband just ntioned that he genuinely feels that three hundred thousand is too expensive for just so massaging..." Lili replied to Yan Qianning, a bit embarrassed.

Though her deanor was slightly apologetic, her words carried a deeper aning.

Clearly, even she felt that Chen Yang’s efforts weren’t worth the three hundred thousand dical fee.
