Now reading: Chapter 1626 - 1620: Return to Yunlong Temple from Peach Blossom Divine Medical God, a Urban novel by Mountains and Seas.

He was alone, and his purpose was clear.

So he sped all the way, reaching the foot of the mountain where Yunlong Temple was located in about two hours.

After parking the car in the village, he took the herbal redy and walked up the path towards Yunlong Temple.

When walking alone, Chen Yang’s speed was extrely fast, and he completed a journey that usually takes about an hour in just ten minutes.

This was his natural pace, and if he were to sprint with all his might, it might only take five minutes.

The Qi Cultivation Realm is too powerful to be considered by common sense.

"Donor, may I ask what brings you to the temple?"

As Chen Yang reached the temple entrance, a monk imdiately stepped out from the gates, clasped his hands, and softly inquired.

"I’m here to see Master De Rui."

Chen Yang said directly.

"Master De Rui? And you are?" The young monk’s eyes widened slightly, sowhat surprised.

"I’m a friend of Master De Rui, visiting him."

Chen Yang added.

"I see, then please, sir."

Seeing as Chen Yang said that, the young monk stopped asking questions and imdiately made way, gesturing invitingly towards the inside of the temple.

Chen Yang didn’t say much more, nodded, and stepped into the temple, following the monk to De Rui’s courtyard, which was very familiar to him.

The courtyard was as quiet as always, with only distant sounds of Buddhist chanting from the main hall.

As they arrived outside the courtyard, the young monk was about to raise his hand to knock when De Rui’s disciple sohow sensed visitors.

He ca out proactively from inside the house.

"It’s you again, why have you co?"

The disciple seed hostile towards Chen Yang, frowning as if he wasn’t welcoming Chen Yang.

Chen Yang wouldn’t bother to argue, maintaining a faint smile, replied, "I’m here to see your master."

"Why do you need to see my master? He’s busy recently and isn’t seeing any visitors!" the disciple said directly.

"Oh? Is that your master’s idea or yours?" Chen Yang asked.

The disciple was slightly impatient: "Of course, it’s my master’s idea; you’d better leave and not co back for now."

From the disciple’s tone, Chen Yang could tell that De Rui might indeed be busy but hadn’t instructed not to see anyone.

Therefore, the request for Chen Yang to leave was purely the disciple’s personal intent.

"I see, that’s really a pity."

Chen Yang recognized the truth but chose not to expose the disciple’s lie, instead sighed lightly, appearing slightly regretful.

"What’s the pity?"

The disciple was intrigued by Chen Yang’s words.

"It’s a pity I’ve made the trip for nothing. I had already researched a way that could resolve your master’s issue, but since he’s busy, let’s leave it." Saying this, Chen Yang turned to leave.

The disciple, who was impatient just monts ago, suddenly panicked upon hearing Chen Yang’s words.

"Wait!"

The disciple quickly chased after him, blocking Chen Yang’s path.

"What did you say? You have a way to heal my master’s hidden ailnt?" the disciple asked seriously.

Chen Yang glanced at him, casually nodded, "Yes, I’ve just co up with a thod yesterday and ca over this morning, but didn’t expect such bad timing."

The disciple heard and imdiately turned pale.

"Please move aside, since your master isn’t here, I won’t bother." Chen Yang said again, pushing past him.

And he was about to leave the vicinity with the young monk.

The disciple’s expression was unpleasant for a mont, and then he hurriedly chased after him, blocking Chen Yang again.

Just as Chen Yang frowned, planning to ask what he was doing, the disciple spoke first.

"My master... just went out for a bit, he’ll be back soon, could you... wait a bit?" the disciple gritted his teeth and said.

Chen Yang ntally chuckled upon hearing this.

Things were exactly as he suspected, asking him to leave was purely the personal intent of that disciple.

"Oh? Out temporarily? Why did you say earlier that he wouldn’t see anyone for a while?" Chen Yang deliberately frowned, displaying annoyance.

Previously arrogant in front of Chen Yang, the disciple suddenly softened.

His expression fluctuated, unsure of how to respond; clearly, he was conflicted.

"I’m sorry... That was my mistake earlier, please wait a mont while I inform my master, please don’t go."

After hesitating for a while, the disciple finally softened, speaking ekly to Chen Yang.

Originally, Chen Yang considered teaching the guy a lesson because of his earlier defiance.

But since he had already changed his attitude, Chen Yang saw no need to continue.

"Alright, if that’s the case, then go ahead, I’ll wait for you."

Chen Yang said.

"Thank you."

The disciple gratefully clasped his hands, then quickly left to find his master.

Watching the hurriedly departing figure, Chen Yang smiled and returned to De Rui’s courtyard, sitting down for a while.

And the young monk, seeing that Chen Yang truly knew Master De Rui, exchanged a few courteous words and left first.

Leaving Chen Yang alone in the courtyard.

Observing the temple filled with spiritual energy, Chen Yang involuntarily sat cross-legged, beginning to absorb the spiritual energy in the air.

This absorption lasted for an unknown duration.

By the ti he opened his eyes, De Rui had returned with his disciple.

"Chen Yang, my young friend, you’re here."

De Rui greeted Chen Yang with a gentle smile.

Seeing him, Chen Yang rose from his seat.

"Old man, it’s not easy to et you these days, I even needed soone to notify you." Chen Yang joked with a smile.

Upon hearing this, De Rui waved his hands and explained with a smile, "Chen Yang, my young friend, you’re kidding, I, being idle, am not that hard to et, just had so matters today, didn’t expect you to co."

"Please co inside."

After explaining, De Rui made a gesture inviting them into the house.

Chen Yang wasn’t shy, smiled slightly, and followed De Rui into the room.

"Hui Neng, go brew so tea."

Upon entering, De Rui promptly instructed his disciple to prepare tea.

The forrly arrogant disciple now resembled a child in front of De Rui, obedient and honest.

It was clear that Hui Neng greatly respected De Rui.

"Yes, Master."

Hui Neng promptly picked up the kettle and left.

Chen Yang and De Rui sat down in the room.

Their positions were the sa as days ago, seated facing each other in the sa spots.

"Chen Yang, my young friend, on my way back, I heard from Hui Neng that you have a solution for my hidden ailnt? Are you serious?"

Sitting down, De Rui didn’t bother with small talk and directly addressed the issue of his hidden ailnt.

Chen Yang also wanted to avoid unnecessary topics, so De Rui’s straightforwardness suited him perfectly.

"Old man, I’m certainly serious, I can heal your ailnt." Chen Yang nodded decisively without hesitation.
