"Hey, Chen Yang."
"What are you up to? Got so ti?"
"I’m at the police station. Is there sothing you need?"
Tan Jing didn’t directly answer whether she had ti, but asked back instead.
Chen Yang smiled slightly and said, "Nothing urgent, just realized you still owe lunch. Thought I’d redeem it at noon."
"Haha." Tan Jing chuckled on the phone as well, "Alright, tell the restaurant, I’ll co right over and fulfill my promise."
"The restaurant right across from your police station, I’m already here waiting for you, hurry over." Chen Yang said.
"What? You’re already here? Okay, wait a bit, I’ll be right there."
Tan Jing was montarily surprised but didn’t ask too many questions. After agreeing, she hung up the phone.
Shortly after, Chen Yang saw Tan Jing in a white dress walking out of the police station through the restaurant’s glass.
Out of her uniform, Tan Jing looked very pretty and had an exceptionally striking deanor.
If one didn’t know she was a police officer, they’d never guess.

Chen Yang watched as Tan Jing entered the restaurant, and then waved at her when she ca in the door, "Over here."
Tan Jing looked over, saw Chen Yang, and a gentle smile appeared on her face as she walked over.
"Why did you suddenly co today?"
Tan Jing asked with a smile as she sat across from Chen Yang.
"I ca by for a bit of business, and thought I’d have you treat to a al." Chen Yang replied with a laugh.
"Oh, I thought you’d co to see for sothing. Have you ordered yet?"
"Not yet, waiting for you to order." Chen Yang said.
"You could have ordered, surely I’m not worried about not affording your al." Tan Jing laughingly rolled her eyes, rembering the first ti they had a al together.
Her comnt brought back mories for Chen Yang too, who chuckled and teased, "Well, to be honest, I did worry a bit about that."
Hearing this, Tan Jing rolled her eyes, feeling sowhat speechless.
But she didn’t say anything else and imdiately called the waiter to start ordering.
Tan Jing picked two dishes for herself, then handed the nu to Chen Yang to let him order.
After all, this al was to treat Chen Yang, how could she not let him order?
"Go ahead and order."
Tan Jing passed the nu to Chen Yang.
Chen Yang didn’t hold back, took the nu, and ordered several signature dishes along with so beverages.
"That should be it."
Chen Yang handed the nu back to the waiter.
"Alright, sir, please wait a mont while we prepare your dishes." The waiter took the nu, bowed, and left.
After ordering, Chen Yang and Tan Jing stopped joking and started chatting about their recent happenings.
It had been a while since they last connected, so they had plenty to talk about.
They began discussing the situation in Liuhe Village, then the conversation shifted to Tan Jing.
Chen Yang particularly inquired about Wu Da Ma Zi’s situation.
After being caught in Hong city, Wu Da Ma Zi was imprisoned; as for what happened afterward, Chen Yang hadn’t kept up with it much.
Now chatting with Tan Jing on this topic, he took the chance to ask about it.
"He has many charges, currently sentenced to over ten years. If more issues are investigated, they might increase his sentence." Tan Jing replied.
Upon hearing ten years, Chen Yang smiled.

"Yeah, soone like him truly deserves it." Tan Jing agreed with a nod.
"Sir, madam, your dishes are ready, please enjoy."
Just as they finished their conversation, the waiter began bringing out the dishes.
So they started to eat while chatting, laughing and joking, enjoying the al.
Since it wasn’t a day off, once they finished eating, Tan Jing was eager to get back to work.
So they didn’t linger too much, took a brief rest, and both got up to head to the cashier.
"Jingjing!"
As they stepped away from their table, a man in a suit suddenly walked up to them.
The man was dressed in a branded suit, tall and handso.
Spotting Tan Jing, he eagerly walked over.
Hearing him, Tan Jing also noticed the man approaching.
At her first sight of him, Tan Jing was very surprised, with a slightly exasperated expression afterward.

Seeing Tan Jing’s expression and Li Jun’s behavior, Chen Yang grasped the situation, figuring out pretty much what was going on.

And Tan Jing had no feelings for him, probably even so aversion.
