Wang Jingman ca over this morning with the engineering team, she didn’t drive herself.
On the way back, she could only leave in Chen Yang’s car.
"Chen Yang, my dad ntioned that although the mine has started operations, the spirit stones you need will still take so ti before production can begin."
In the car, Wang Jingman suddenly seed to rember sothing and looked at Chen Yang and said.
"It’ll take so ti? How long approximately?" Chen Yang asked, slightly surprised.
Nevertheless, he trusted Wang Jingman naturally and wouldn’t think otherwise.
Since she ntioned it would take so ti, there must be a reason for it.
"Because my dad used so thods to explore and found that the depth of the spirit stone mine is much deeper than the coal mine! To open a passage for extraction will require ti!"
"Moreover, extracting spirit stones isn’t sothing that can be rushed, you understand, the situation isn’t stable. If we proceed too flamboyantly, it could cause trouble."
Wang Jingman calmly looked at Chen Yang and said.
After hearing Wang Jingman’s explanation, Chen Yang nodded in agreent.
The spirit stone mine is a huge temptation for cultivators.
Not to ntion, the Gu Family must know about the existence of the spirit stone mine beneath the coal mine. If extraction is too hurried, it will indeed bring unnecessary trouble.
So, discreet mining is the most suitable approach.
"Your dad’s considerations are spot on; slower can be better, and I can wait," Chen Yang nodded in agreent.
"Yes, that’s what I think too, so I haven’t raised any objections. But rest assured, Chen Yang, I’ll extract as quickly as possible while ensuring safety. Wait for my update," Wang Jingman said with a smile.
"Alright, looking forward to your good news."
Chen Yang smiled and agreed, then the two drove to the county town together.
Having nothing much to do, they went straight ho.
At noon, Wang Jingman again took to the kitchen and made a sumptuous lunch.
After eating, the two lounged comfortably like a young couple, nestled on the sofa watching a movie.
Until around four in the afternoon, Chen Yang’s phone suddenly rang.
Surprisingly, it was Nizi calling.
During this period, Chen Yang and Nizi mostly communicated via phone because there wasn’t anything urgent, just sharing life updates and sending ssages.
This was the first ti Nizi had proactively called.
"Why is Nizi suddenly calling? Did sothing happen at school?"
Chen Yang was sowhat surprised but didn’t think too much and answered the call directly.
"Hello, Nizi."
"Chen Yang! Do you have a mont now? I have so good news to share with you."
As soon as the call connected, Chen Yang heard Nizi’s excited voice over the line.
Hearing Nizi talk about good news, he couldn’t help but smile, relieved that nothing was wrong.
"I do have ti now," Chen Yang looked at Wang Jingman and smiled, then proactively asked, "What’s the good news making you this happy?"
"Alright, I’ll tell you then." Nizi heard he had ti and didn’t keep him guessing, imdiately detailing the good news.
Turns out Nizi is about to graduate.
At this mont, the school suddenly organized a special research session to be conducted under the guidance of several senior ntors.
Ordinarily, students wouldn’t participate in such high-level research, but for so reason, it was decided that the top students of the college could join.
However, spots were limited, with only ten trainees able to participate.
Nizi, being exceptional in both morals and academics, was fortunately selected by the school to join the research.
So Nizi specifically made this call to inform Chen Yang.
Hearing such good news, Chen Yang was sincerely glad for Nizi.
"Congratulations, Nizi, you’re quite the pride of our village! This high-level research must greatly influence your post-graduation prospects, right?" Chen Yang congratulated while also intriguingly discussing the topic with Nizi.
Since he’s a dical student himself, he’s quite familiar with this aspect.
This so-called research likely is akin to participating in so international large-scale events.
If attended, it offers substantial support to Nizi’s resu.
And as he guessed, that’s indeed the case.
"Yes, Chen Yang, if I join this research, it would greatly enhance my resu, plus I could directly pursue master’s and doctoral studies, which is incredibly valuable!" Nizi said excitedly over the phone.
Though they haven’t t, Chen Yang could imagine her joyful and excited deanor over the call.
"Well, this is fantastic news! If you succeed in participating, you will beco the highest educated PhD graduate of our Liuhe Village; by then, I’ll definitely celebrate for you," Chen Yang said with a smile.
"Haha, Chen Yang, stop teasing , the most accomplished in our village should be you, not !" Nizi replied.
"Ah, achievents are achievents; education is education, they can’t be mixed."
"Hehe, alright then, brother. Actually, I called you to share the good news, but there’s also sothing I’d like to ask your help with."
Nizi chuckled in agreent, then changed the topic.
"What is it?" Chen Yang quickly asked.
"My ntor ntioned that participating in this research might pose certain risks, hence requiring a guardian’s confirmation at the school for participating. I’m afraid if I tell my mom, she’ll worry about ; that’s why I want you to help confirm and sign off." Nizi explained.
Upon hearing this, Chen Yang frowned.
"A research, yet it might be risky?"
"Yes, it’s just like performing surgery on a patient; risks are inherent in any such endeavor. Chen Yang, don’t worry, it’s just about signing, nothing will go wrong," Nizi responded lightly.
Chen Yang didn’t agree imdiately but after contemplating, said, "Alright, then I’ll make ti to visit you."
"Mm-hmm, but make sure it’s soon, Chen Yang, because the spots must be confird before tomorrow night at the latest."
"Alright, I understand."
Chen Yang nodded again, and soon after, the two didn’t linger in conversation and hung up the call.
"What kind of research even poses risks?"
After hanging up, Chen Yang still felt curious and concerned about this so-called research.
"Whatever, I need to find ti to visit the provincial city anyway, so it coincides, and I can learn more then." Chen Yang felt puzzled but chose not to think about it further.
By the ti he visits the provincial city and finds Nizi, a face-to-face chat should elucidate matters.
If needed, tapping so contacts to gather information surely wouldn’t be a problem.
What issues could arise at school?
"What happened, Chen Yang? Is everything alright?"
As soon as Chen Yang ended the call, Wang Jingman on the sofa asked curiously.
She noticed Chen Yang’s expression and realized sothing had transpired.
"There’s been a situation, I might need to visit the provincial city today," Chen Yang looked at Wang Jingman and replied.
"Visit the provincial city?"
"Yes, Sister Xiaoe from the village wants her child to participate in an experint that requires a relative’s signature; I have to go over." Chen Yang nodded, explaining the situation.
"I see, when are you leaving?"
Upon hearing the matter, Wang Jingman didn’t inquire further but instead cared about when Chen Yang would depart.
"The guardian’s signature is needed by tomorrow, so I’ll leave today and handle my own business in the provincial city as well," Chen Yang said.
"Alright, then let see you off."
Knowing when Chen Yang ntioned departing, it ant he’d leave imdiately, Wang Jingman promptly got up to change clothes and escorted Chen Yang downstairs.
