"These two are definitely going to have a conflict."
Watching the backs of Chen Yang and Qin Chengxuan as they walked away, Lisa said heavily.
"Huh? Why? Isn’t that disciple from the Lion Tiger Monastery very polite? How could he have a conflict with Brother Chen Yang?" Xiao Hu, being straightforward, didn’t pay attention to other subtleties and only saw the surface. Qin Chengxuan seed very polite.
In reality, those who understood knew that anyone with a bit of insight could hear the undertones in Qin Chengxuan’s words.
To this, Lisa only smiled and didn’t say much.
Unexpectedly, a disciple from Lion Tiger Monastery beside them spoke disdainfully, "Hehe, I don’t think there will be any conflict, if he has the wisdom to know his place."
"Exactly, our senior brother is humble. If he knows what’s good for him, there won’t be any conflict. But if he doesn’t know his place, he’ll just end up getting beaten by our senior brother."
The disciples of Lion Tiger Monastery had absolute confidence in Qin Chengxuan, even to the point of arrogance.
Hearing this, Lisa and the others were furious.
But they didn’t bother to argue with them, as finding opportunities was the most important task at hand.
They all snorted coldly and quickly went to other places to look for their opportunities.
Not long after, the people from the Lion Tiger Monastery also dispersed, searching for their own opportunities.
On the other side, Chen Yang and Qin Chengxuan moved quickly, almost crossing the region’s boundary simultaneously, entering another area.
This area’s pressure was imnse, even making it tough for them to endure.
Qin Chengxuan saw Chen Yang really coming with him, and his face showed slight surprise, yet he still smiled and said, "This Dao Friend truly makes look at him with new respect, I didn’t expect you’d actually enter this area."
"So did you." Chen Yang didn’t respond much.
"There aren’t many buildings here. How about you and I search one side each?" Qin Chengxuan looked around and found there were only a few buildings on either side, apart from the central road.
There’s bound to be good stuff here, so he wasn’t in a hurry to make any aggressive moves.
Chen Yang was thinking the sa.
"Alright, I’ll follow your lead, one left, one right."
Chen Yang agreed decisively, and the two quickly parted ways, diving into the buildings to search for opportunities.
The buildings at the foot of the mountain were dilapidated, but those on the mountaintop were built with unknown materials.
They looked like stone, but the weighty feeling showed no signs of decay, making them unlike ordinary stones.
Although Chen Yang found it strange, he had no extra ti to study these things.
Efficiency was key, he needed to search diligently.
The more houses he searched, the better.
The first house he entered had a very peculiar structure, leaving him unsure of its original purpose.
Along with Wangcai, he searched several tis but found nothing useful, only a dozen Spirit Stones, and so broken rocks with what seed to be writings on them.
However, due to the passage of ti, the characters had beco very difficult to discern.
Chen Yang glanced at them hurriedly but didn’t take it to heart, moving on to the next building.
The next building, from its structure, looked like an alchemy room.
Not only did it have alchemy furnaces, but there were many wooden shelves filled with containers for elixirs.
As soon as he entered, a strong dicinal fragrance assaulted his senses.
Chen Yang was familiar with this field, and he imdiately understood what this place was.
"I’m rich!"
Realizing it was an alchemy room, Chen Yang felt invigorated!
With so many shelves and containers, how could he not strike it rich?
Chen Yang suppressed his excitent and quickly started searching.
But the result was disappointing.
Because a long ti had passed, the elixirs within the containers had dissipated with ti.
Those well-preserved left only so black residue, while the poorly preserved ones, when opened, were empty despite the strong dicinal aroma.
They had long since vanished, leaving only a faint dicinal scent lingering.
"What a pity, these were top-notch elixirs, yet they’ve all vanished into thin air."
From the aroma, Chen Yang could easily tell these elixirs were made from very expensive herbs. It was a sha nothing remained.
The alchemy room was large, and Chen Yang spent a long ti searching.
Although most of the elixirs couldn’t withstand the erosion of ti, he believed that among so many elixirs, one or two would have survived.
He searched diligently, and indeed found so as he expected!
On the last row of wooden shelves in the alchemy room, Chen Yang saw a utensil shaped like a small incense burner.
Before even getting close, he slled a distinctive dicinal aroma.
Approaching and opening the lid, behold, five elixirs emitting a faint yellow-golden glow were neatly stacked inside.
"Good stuff!"
Chen Yang’s eyes lit up, and he imdiately took the incense burner down, examining it in his hands.
The elixirs emitting a faint golden glow had an extraordinary fragrance, clearly crafted with powerful techniques and containing precious herbs.
However, he wasn’t sure what these elixirs were used for.
Ti was tight, so Chen Yang couldn’t afford to study them and decided to keep them, just in case.
Along with the incense burner, Chen Yang put everything into his backpack, and then cleared the dust from where the burner was originally placed, hoping to find so clues.
He knew that usually, places like this would leave markings for each type of elixir, for easy identification.
After gently wiping the dust off the wooden shelf, he indeed found an inscription underneath the incense burner.
In ancient script, luckily Chen Yang had studied this in college, and could at least decipher simple characters.
"Creation Pill."
Chen Yang muttered the na.
He morized it, then left the alchemy room, proceeding to search elsewhere.
This area had very few buildings.
They were mainly important structures like the alchemy room, warehouse, armory, etc.
These were ant for storing treasures, but over ti, many valuable items had virtually vanished.
Just like the alchemy room Chen Yang visited.
Almost all the elixirs had dissipated, and only a stove of Creation Pills remained, showing how many good things a millennium of ti had destroyed.
Having searched through his entire area, Chen Yang didn’t find much.
A stove of elixirs, plus two top-grade Spirit Stones, and about thirty relatively pure middle-grade Spirit Stones.
Besides these, there was nothing else.
He returned to the central cobblestone path, coincidentally, across from him, Qin Chengxuan had also finished searching his buildings and ca to the cobblestone path.
"Dao Friend, you’re really fast, even faster than ." Qin Chengxuan approached Chen Yang with a smiling face.
Seeing his joyous expression, Chen Yang guessed that he must have found quite a few good things too.
